BJ left Forest training ground and on way to London, to be in ‘right place’ if deal is agreed. Gone full Peter Odemwingie.

Johnson, Gallagher (if PEH goes) and a CB and I’m happy. Anything less and I’ll raze the stadium to the ground.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah Bella-Kotchap along with the two you mentioned will be a great end to the window.

With PEH, Dier, Ndombele and Sachez being offloaded.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Agreed

Dier apparently offered in part ex for Kelly, but he didn’t want to go. We can’t get rid of any of these cuunnttts because they’re all refusing to leave. None of them wanna play football, they just wanna loaf around on the THFC gravy train.

Johnson sounds like it is done bar the deal structure, extremely confident.

Apparently we’re making a new bid for Lloyd faaaacking Kelly after having £20m turned down - what is Khunty chops thinking?

At this stage, I'd just pay them off to get them out of the club. We've got so many that absolutely stink the place out. It's hard to believe that when Jose was at United, there were rumours of a 75m bid coming in for Dier. We should have sold these players when we had the chance. If they're rotting now, it's our fault for not binning them earlier.

Carragher reckons we need defenders and let's face it, he's right. We got so pre-occupied with the Fati/Johnson/Gallagher deals that we didn't spot that we still need defensive reinforcements massively. Dier doesn't want to go and now the rumour is neither does Sanchez. So we're fecking stuck with these absolute cuuuuunts. If we can't get rid of one of those two, we're not going to get anyone in as defensive cover. That scares the life out of me. One injury or suspension (Cuti) and we're totally and utterly fecked.

I'm gonna have a party when each of the contracts of Dier, Sanchez and Ndombele run out. My god. They're not footballers. They're thieves.

Rather him or Dorrington be given a chance tbh.

Both should be banished from the club. Absolute cancers.

Honestly, if we can't get rid of one of Dier or Sanchez, I don't think we're bringing anyone else in defensively. Incomings were always dependant on outgoings, particularly in certain areas. Moving Tanganga on doesn't really make a difference. We need to shift either Dier or Sanchez to see movement there.

I'd love to see Phillips or Dorrington given a chance but the fact that they've not made any match day squads so far says they're not ready. If we have no intention of playing Philips I wonder why we didn't just sign him and loan him back.

On board with the BJ signing if it’s from the mind of Angie. Quick and versatile and has a sharper eye for goal than Richarlison. £50m is a lot however.

POK saying £40m ish which is a hell of alot better. Probably still over paying by £10m if the £40m figure is true.

Rennes and Monaco have pulled out of the race to sign Davinson Sánchez (27) after Tottenham refused to lower their asking price - the details. (FM)

Crazy. He is going to walk away for free next summer. Surely Levy accepts any fee?

My only worry is that because his pace is his strongest quality, he suits a counter attacking style more than Ange's heavy possession philosophy. What good is pace against a low block team? There must be a reason he likes him so much but if we're going to be controlling games there isn't going to be much space in behind, which is where he thrives.

It's a weird one but I'll trust this is his call. If it's not, feckinell Levy.

Surely that has to be total bull? It's not about the fee. It's about the wages. We need these players off the books. This is why Levy is the problem. He won't accept these are duds and wants big money for terrible players. That's why they're stinking out the place.

Course it's about the fee. Our wage bill is one of the lowest out of the Top 6.

100%. We're missing out on targets not because we can't shift these players, but because we can't shift at a price Levy deems reasonable. That's the difference. There's a reason no other clubs have this issue. If they sign a dud, they accept the loss and move on. Levy just will not accept it and it's holding us back. Massively.

Welcome to Spurs Ange. This is how it all works.
