I think he is in a high line, distributing the ball calmly etc

It’s his recovery pace and general defending more than use of the ball. Sanchez defo not good or calm on the ball

#Galatasaray remain an option for Tanguy Ndombele but it’s not time sensitive today. Turkish window remains open to Sep 15. Wants to play for a Champions League team skysports.com/transfer-centre #thfc

Cb is definitely the wind up. We needed two minimum. Got one who improves us massively but injury away from being as bad as last season back there

Not quite as bad as last season cause I think our midfield is improved and with our possession based football you would hope less chances for the opposition to score, but yeah it's not much of a consolation. We've been playing Sanchez in 2 games and he's already caused damage and that's against beatable opposition.

You just know the failure to bring in another defender is going to come back to haunt us.

I get that not everything gets done in one window but waiting for players contracts to run down to make space for new ones is just nonsensical.

Tear up the feckin' deals for feck's sake. I'm so sick of us relying on outgoings to bring others in. It doesn't stop other sides from recruiting. Levy has always got one eye on the balance sheet. Heck he's got both eyes on it. Football progress is always so secondary.

We are alarmingly short having sold Kane and only strengthened one area at the back. Why is progress a snail's pace at our club? It's just so tedious and typical. We're expected to pay the most to attend games of anyone fan, probably in the world, yet we're not seeing any of that reflected in the playing staff. We're totally getting shafted by this regime. I don't why I still get annoyed.

I feel like a lot of fans have moved from anger to apathy now. You're just numb, expecting the worst. That's no position to accept.

João Palhinha | Huge Fulham deal now off as transfer deadline passes

• Quite an unbelievable turn of events as player was already in Munich waiting for green light from Craven Cottage

It’s even worse, some fans mick those of us that protest against levy. It’s sad. We’re trying to stand up for the loyal spurs fans who now can’t afford to attend games and some on here think that’s worth mocking.

Unfortunately it won’t affect levy as he will be long gone before spurs realise they didn’t recruit enough young fans right now and the ground is half full of apathetic tourists

so seems like Gallagher depending on hobby leaving, Dier and dav waiting to run down their contracts so no CBs coming, Hugo probably will have his contract bought out on Monday

All the virgins over at Spurs Community are losing their shiiiiit over the possibility of a curve ball opportunity apparently. Something about either Bremer or Eze. Either way it's a Base client, whoever it is.

As far as I'm concerned these so called ITKs work for betting companies desperate to feed wrong information to increase revenue. Hardly anything they ever say comes true.

Nah. Johnson likely, Gallagher maybe, Kelly small possibility.

Reckon that's it.

I agree. If we get all three I mentioned I'd make that a really good window. Which isn't bad going considering we lost arguably our greatest ever player.

Chelsea are going to be in serious, serious trouble… again!!

Spent over £400m… & players tied down to ridiculously long contracts…

Poch has spent more in this window… than in 11 windows at Spurs… incredible!

Plus… they still haven’t got a team to challenge!

Time to call it a day. All of these failed deals will be revisited in January.

Not signing a CB is criminal. Sick of it.
