JUST IN: Fulham are struggling to convince #thfc midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg to join.

Højbjerg believes he should be a regular starter at the world's biggest clubs. | @NizaarKinsella

Predictable

Feck me. I'm so done with these charlatans. Why are they all like this?

The new stadium has changed nothing as far as our financial muscle it seems. No wonder Levy is so keen to copy Brighton's methods when they currently have their hands on the net spend trophy.

If true and Levy is rejecting fees then he really does need to fack off. Utter madness.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
100%. We're missing out on targets not because we can't shift these players, but because we can't shift at a price Levy deems reasonable. That's the difference. There's a reason no other clubs have this issue. If they sign a dud, they accept the loss and move on. Levy just will not accept it and it's holding us back. Massively.

Welcome to Spurs Ange. This is how it all works.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s unacceptable really but Joe Lewis is happy as the books are more than balanced and Levy has no other accountability. So frustrating.

Apparently Rennes offered €12m for Sanchez but Levy wouldn’t budge from €15m. Utter insanity.

I can’t wait for the levy apologists coming in here after 11 to explain why we still have Sanchez and dier as potential starters and what our plan was when Kane left.

Twenty percent more on those ticket prices folks

Levy is a k haaaant

No1 - fack levy
No2 - why did ange say he knew kane wanted to leave from the start, but still played him and had no plan for when he left other than brennan johnson? As we saw with caicedo/brighton, when you know the player is going you can freeze em from the squad and still get a huge transfer fee. So amateurish once again

Because levy probably told him too as it would get a few million more out of Bayern. Why bother giving Richie a proper preseason when Enic could get another 10 mill for Kane?

But thats the point, brighton received a huge fee even though the froze out caicedo once it was apparent his head was turned. Im sure the same would have happened for Kane?

Lloyd Kelly & Brennan Johnson 🤣. 2 championship players, honestly I give up

Palninha travelling to Munich, hopefully this means Fulham will step up their pursuit of Hojbjerg, giving us room for Gallacher

£45m deal for BJ agreed apparently.

Salah to Saudi for €150m rejected by Liverpool. That’s madness, he’s 30 now isn’t he?

Actually he’s 31, and apparently they’re likely to come back with a €175m bid! Surely they can’t turn that down even though they can’t replace him.

Chelsea have now spent over a Billion since Todd Boehly took over , ridiculous.

We need an upgrade on Hojbjerg, who is not mobile enough to play in Ange`s system, Gallacher ticks that box, he is genuine box to box and apparently Ange likes him for his system, he us also young with a higher ceiling. Chelsea may be willing to deal given they have around 50 players and need to trim their squad

Yeh lunacy the Dippers turning that down, Salah is on the decline and they won`t get that much next season. If they had any sense they would be chopping the saudi`s hand off for £150m

Spurs currently negotiating with Chelsea on Gallagher, they want £45m, we value him at £35m.

Can definitely see the value of having him over PEH in Anges system, not against this or BJ personally. Just wish we’d get a new CB and bin off Sanchez and Dier, but Dier won’t get the fack out and Levy overvalues Sanchez and keeps turning deals down.

They've not learned anything from the Coutinho sale have they? Do they not realise that selling their most prized asset is what set them up for domination for a couple of years. They have to take the money, particularly if 175 is gonna be on the table next. Write off this season as a rebuild. That's the only sensible option. Money talks and if Klopp doesn't want to sell, you just watch the board intervene. I think this one gets done.

No club can turn down €175m for a 31 year old. Liverpool are run not dissimilar from us, FSG would be mad to turn that down - unless Klopp has threatened to walk.

Yep priority has always been defensive, yet aside from VDV we've totally ignored it. We have zero decent cover in any of those four positions.

Actually if we fail to do anything this season it will be because we've ignored two vital areas - defensive cover and an able goalscorer. Those areas are the difference between success and failure but for some bizarre reason we're looking at strengthening areas we're well stocked in. Truly strange.
