dav seems like a nice guy, not a player I ever really wrapped my arms round but I hope he smashes it

Wish him all the best, seemed a great guy and really wanted to do well for everyone
Sometimes could defend, too uncomfortable on the ball to survive at this level
Hard not to cash despite not getting in a replacement. Good luck Davinson
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah repost
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree with this. Frustration with him is nothing to do with him on a personal level. It’s because his position in the squad is endemic of the failure of ENIC to regenerate the team, leaving successive managers short of quality. Dier is an even bigger testament to this. Hope Sanchez goes on to have a good career.

BREAKING: Davinson Sánchez to Galatasaray, here we go!
Deal agree with #thfc for €10-15M. | @FabrizioRomano
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Great news , Ndombelly gone as well
We have reached agreement with Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray for the transfer of Davinson Sanchez.
Wishing you all the best for the future, Davinson! 🤍
£12.8m
Tanguy Ndombele has joined Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.
Good luck, Tanguy 👊
#thfc Galatasary have confirmed that Tanguy Ndombele has joined them on a free loan whilst paying €3.136,000 towards his wages
The option to buy, should they take it, is €15.000.000 & it has been agreed to be paid in equal installments spread over 5 seasons, starting from 2025

I thought he was out of contract at the end of the season; why would they need to pay €15m for him🤷♂️

He has two years left. He will still be costing us around 7m a year in wages if they are paying 3m. That based in him being on 200k a week.
Gold and others have said the 200k includes a bunch of performance bonuses. Basic is around 100 to 140k. Still depressing but yeah.
Also interesting reading on the Reddit thread, these press releases don't include payments made by sponsors. Zaha is apparently having a chunk of his wages paid privately. Might be the case with Ndombele too
Reality of our squad is
Gk - Vicario, Forster
RB - porro, Emerson
CB - Romero, VDV, Philips ( Davies )
LB - Udogie, Davies, Sessegnon
DM - Bissouma, Højbjerg
CM - Maddison, Sarr, Skipp, bentancur, GLC
RW - Kulusevski, Johnson, Gill
LW - Solomon, perisic
ST - Son, Richarlison

Does he? Fack me I thought we gave him a 5 year contract when we bought him in 2019, not 6. He’s like the unflushable terd.
Good sell for Sanchez, happy with that

I can't see it tbh. Hopefully signing BJ will give Kulu abit of motivation to step up.
Speaking of Johnson, he was the one who fouled Richy when he was doing kick ups against Forest

You can see him making more of an effort to go to the byline. I have noticed that it’s ended in a lot of deflected crosses

I feel like we have two starting 3s that compliment eachother:
Solomon Son Kulu (Dribbly passy one)
Perisic Richy BJ (Crossy one)

Not for us, no. But he played there a lot previously, and you can see in games he’s instructed to come inside he seems adept in that part of the pitch.
He didn't play much for Juve though I thought? Sure he might be able to do it but I'd be surprised. More than anything, moving someone that can beat a player and score into midfield seems kind of a waste.

He did win Serie A young player of the year playing in a similar role.
I don’t think moving someone who can score into midfield is a waste. I also don’t think beating a player is a standout strength of his.

I think he needs to increase his decison making or overall speed by like 10% of what it is currently. At the crutial moment he just hesitates and costs him.
Btw, for Son's 5th goal, not sure the ball from Porro would have reached Son, if Kulu hadn't slipped.
I think he's playing RW cos that's what his skillset suits best.
