I honestly feel like Kulusevski might become our Maddison backup over time

think he's struggled so far but shown some signs of progress the last few games

You can see him making more of an effort to go to the byline. I have noticed that it’s ended in a lot of deflected crosses

I think he needs to increase his decison making or overall speed by like 10% of what it is currently. At the crutial moment he just hesitates and costs him.

Btw, for Son's 5th goal, not sure the ball from Porro would have reached Son, if Kulu hadn't slipped.

It might be a form thing it doesn’t look as natural to him as it did when he first came. Could also be a stylistic thing causing him not to reach his full potential.

Well, when we get rid of Ndombele in 2025, Richarlison will be the next problem, as he will have two years left remaining on his deal. Unless Neymar puts in a word with the Saudi brothers between now and then, we are going to be stuck with him.

He clearly puts in more effort than Ndombele. I should have said he COULD be a problem in shifting. He is 26 years old. He should be entering the best years of his football career right now. Instead he looks lost.

As I said yesterday, the Brentford game was the only game that was a real stylistic difference to the others.

Will be interesting to see how we cope vs high pressing Newcastle or low block masters West Ham.

Yep, it is almost foretold. However, as Brazils no9 and all the poncing about he does on instagram he’d be a marketable signing for the Saudi’s in certain parts of the world. Unless the Saudis choose not to do business with Tottenham of course.

I like Richy, good player and suits our system. If the right bid comes in, especially as he gets old, I’d sell in a heartbeat. Much like I would any player.

Don’t think our upcoming fixtures are too bad.

Sheff Utd (H)
Arsenal (A)
Liverpool (H)
Luton (A)
Fulham (H)
Palace (A)

We should be expecting to take 9 from Fulham, Luton and Sheffield. Home to Liverpool a draw isn’t inconceivable (they’ll have started Europa by then). A point or maybe 3 away at Palace. Write the NLD off. That’s between 11 and 13 points from 6 games.

Fully expecting Sheff Utd to come and park the bus. Feels like it is almost a foregone conclusion we will win but in the past against newly promoted teams like Hull we have struggled. When we think we have to just turn up, that is usually the start of our downfall.

Mental money which they simply cannot turn down for a 31 year old. Gives them the chance to do a post Coutinho style rebuild next summer but could derail this season for them.

Having said that we’ve lost Kane and are scoring goals for fun so who knows, they might be fine.

Depends if we're counting Porro and Kulu.

If not, about £35m ...

I see some people on twitter say you can’t count the porro/kulu money as it would’ve been accounted at the time of them joining but that BS.

The reason they was done this way was to push the purchase price down the road so off course it goes on this summers spend.
