Based on his xG? He is a good presser. Richy and BJ need some competition after last night.

I don't really watch football outside of the PL, so my only knowledge of Werner comes from his Chelsea spell.

I may be misremembering, but wasn't he.......total dogsh!t?

Scored 10 in 56 apps for Chelsea and since returning to Germany he has scored 11 in 35.

Before Chelsea he scored 78 in 127

his xG has always been very good lol his problem is he can't finish

we need another forward but he's so similar to what Brennan and Richy already give us (pace, threat in behind and in the box, not very comfortable with the ball technically) when we really need another winger who can make it stick and get to the byline consistently

I understand it's January but I'm sure we can do better than Werner

Even though it is a 6 month loan, he is only coming as cover for Son. He probably won't get much of a look in after Feb.

And if Utd were in for him too, rather we get him than them, especially as we play each other next week.

I'm not over the moon about him but I'm not against him.

I think he's an upgrade on gil at least.

Yeah but this is a loan with no obligation, just an option like Danjuma.

ultimately we only have 4 forwards good enough for us currently and one of them is away on International duty for the rest of the month, so we definitely needed another option. ultimately it's a loan at the end of the day so it's hard to get too upset about it but I'm not expecting much
