I really like Ali G but my god I wish he'd make his videos shorter! They are the length of movies now.

Ad money talks Spurts mate

They used to be about an hour long, that was fine. Now they are always an hour and a half or more. Have to watch them in parts and by the time I've finished watching the video isn't relevant anymore and he's brought out a new one.
Still, he is one of the best Spurs journalists though.

I love watching his video
I've said it numerous times in a half joking way, but if you genuinely set the speed of his videos to 1.75x then they're finished quicker but you don't miss anything as he naturally talks so slowly, that when youbspeed him up, his speech sounds like a regular pace
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's a good idea actually Number, might try that.
Would speed up all the parts of the video where he gets sidetracked apologising for this and that, or just all of his bits that don't really add anything.
is he still one of the best spurs journos though. really
nice bloke but he's pretty out the loop these days
and his videos are a travesty never have any new information in, just recapping news and press conference quotes
I can imagine if you don't keep up to date on social media they'd be useful but that's it

I don't really keep up to date with it so for me Ali is fine. Plus my thoughts on Spurs are generally in sync with his. Always share similar opinions with him.

I think he is in loop alot more than he gives out but keeps info to himself or is told to do so by the club.

yeah sure me too, clubs tell me everything but I keep my cards close to my chest
it's Funny when you see the amount of stick Brennan is getting and then see he has 1 goal and 4 assists in 11 starts

Or he’s getting a goal contribution every 236.4 minutes this season
Anyway it’s his all round play that most point out is the problem atm
Everyone knew he wasn't the finshed product when we brought him. He is making good progress. Just needs to sort his finishing out. He will get there.

You must be a journo too then
Player purchases as a ratio of sales during calendar year:
2011 0.4
2012 0.75
2013 0.95
2014 1.05
2015 1.05
2016 1.75
2017 1.2
2019 2.15
2020 3.50
2021 2.15
2022 4.0
2023 2.0
Bill, what was our turnover and spend during the last five years at WHL compared to the new Lane up and till today?
I only have the figures for player purchases and sales Luka, which are as follows (in calendar years*):
2011-2016 (6 years)
Sales £339 Purchases £331m
2017-2023 (7 years inc covid)
Sales £341*m Purchases £790m
*the last January window at WHL is included in the 2nd group but this only affects the sale of Tom Carroll which I have £5m in for.

Nice one. Swiss Ramble is pretty good for stuff like this.
Just wanted to see how the satdium has changed the game for us.
https://images.app.goo.gl/Rr8jLqi92NpohE8X6
Found this.
Christ. Dier has the 6th most Prem appearances for Spurs.
Only 2 more to catch JD.
Ange????
He's never really injured IIRC
Also, how the hell did Mark Hughes pay £18 for Kevin Wimmer?
The good ol' days when we could sell deadwood for good money. I mean Hojbjerg should be expensive but you know he'll go for less than Wimmer
That transfer was a real blip. Howler from Hughes.
We signed Wimmer for £4m when he was 23.
Played 15 games in 2 seasons for us.
Stoke pay £18m for him. He plays 17 times for them in 4 years (simply because he's rubbish and can't get in the team).
I can't see any other sale where we've robbed someone like that.
