Been some incredible actors this century. I find almost everything has dropped in quality since like the 1950s/60s, but movie acting...it's on another level to the 20th century imo.

In no particular order:

Philip Seymour Hoffman
Daniel Day-Lewis
Joaquim Phoenix
Nicole Kidman
Chrstian Bale
Tom Hardy
Cillian Murphy

Just completely off the top of my head I think they'd all probably be in the top 20 screen actors of all time which is incredibel.

Then the following maybe a bit below them:
Russell crowe
Leo DiCaprio
Cate Blanchett
Brad pitt
Will smith

I waver on Oldman. I think he was brilliant in State of Grace, a bit ott in True Romance, and absurd in Leon.
I'd be likely to have him down in 80s or 90s anyway.

Washington. I do like him and I see that he's highly rated. But he just seems to me to be one of those actors (Caine, Hackman) who just always seem to give the same performance. Like Deja Vu. Maybe I'm missing something.

Cheers for the other suggestions which I'll check out.

When Ange has us playing regularly in the CL and in semis and finals we can talk about Poch’s “weirdness “
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With the team he had when I look back now I think it’s a fail he didn’t win anything

I sound like Sandy but it’s true …..he had the best team I’ve seen since I’ve supported Tottenham
