Reports coming in that we’ve struck a deal for Nusa. Anyone know much about him? I’ll be honest, I’ve never heard of the bloke.

He's 18, so probably out on loan for 3 or 4 years like Kane.

fantastic dribbler, fits the profile of the kind of winger we need, imagine he would be a 6th choice forward next season

I’ll be honest, having seen that clip, he’s ready. He looks like Ronaldo did at the same age. Not saying he’s gonna go that route but he looks a proper player. 6 month loan back but on that evidence, he’ll be ready next year.

he has that lovely musiala slalomy glide to him

Solomon must be furious at all this. Werner and now possibly Nusa, all on Son’s side 😂. Sol doesn’t stand a chance.

Yeah he really does. I’ll be very surprised if the bigger teams don’t come sniffing now we’re close. Surprised City haven’t made a move considering they have his international team mate in Haaland up top. Maybe we can offer him something City can’t - first team football.

nowhere near 1st team for me.
conceivably the season after next.
looks (unsurprisingly) very very raw to me based on that vid.
i have been wrong about football before though.

Remember Bryan Gil? I bet his Sevilla vids are better

I don't think Gil was ever widely thought of as highly as Nusa is currently

posted on 18/1/24

Depends on your definition of widely

And highly

can't argue with that

widely = ndombelly
highly = crouch

Sounds like he has played in all three forward positions.

Son, Kulu, BJ, Solomon and Musa next season on the wings.

Option for Werner too .

At this rate we may only need to make 2 or 3 more signings in the summer.

people will still be demanding at least 6

Seen a bit of Nusa, he’s like Doku but with way rawer end product.

Whereas Gil wasn’t up to it even when we signed him, I always remember IOAG doing a good post the day he came to us saying how it wasn’t going to work - and he was spot on

Chance of failure around 50%?

Son best position isnt out wide now

Werner and BJ squad players

Solomon was a weird signing probably just a stop gap profit maker

forward line definitely has a position open for improving the first XI whereas rest of the XI is pretty set

"Son best position isnt out wide now"
Interesting thought. Maybe right. Wonder whether the plan is to use him and Richi centrally.

"Werner and BJ squad players"
Werner I'm hoping can become a 1st team player.
BJ, unless he can improve his deficiencies (tracking back, tackling, being absolutely useless at kicking the ball) then he's no good anywhere in the squad. If by some miracle he can then I'd imagine with his pace he'd be first choice.

"forward line definitely has a position open for improving the first XI whereas rest of the XI is pretty set"
Yeah agree with that.
