Ange gets a free pass this season. I don't think anyone had much faith in him or Levy to back him as much as he did at the start of the season.

He wasn't even 5th choice for most people. I think he will be backed again in this window and the next one too.

If we don't win the FA cup this season it's no biggie for me. As long as we keep on playing good football and get top 4 I'll be happy.

We will need some luck to win the FA cup and getting passed City is not going to be easy. Would love to win it but they will be no toys thrown out if we don't.

I want the FA Cup

Would give my left nut for us to win the FA Cup, happily finish 6/7th as a trade off. Would also love to win the Europa League and I think that’s more winnable than the FAC. Generally (I know Liverpool are in it this season) you don’t have to play Europes elite to win the Europa, just clubs on your own level whereas you’ll inevitably need to beat Liverpool or City to win the FA Cup.

6th or 7th would get you Europe. I’d take Europa over CL in exchange for an FA Cup win all day. I do trust the manager, I’m just not setting an unreasonably high bar in his first season so I can call him out as a failure at the end if we don’t make it.

Yeah that’s right, on his debut, can visualise the goal now. I have a recollection that Poch didn’t really get to utilise his new signings before getting sacked, was probably GLC & Sess that were hardly available.

Yeah that was Lo Celso. He was injured at the start of the season, came back from injury to play for Argentina, got injured again on international duty and then Poch was sacked before he got fit again.

I know it all went wrong under Poch but I do wonder what might've turned out differently if he'd been able to play a regular midfield including Lo Celso and Ndombele.

Then it's a disappointment but it can still be considered good progress from last season and Ange will have done really well (should we get CL). You could argue Ange underachieved in the cups though.

I'm pretty sure it was a joke anyway
