So the Senegal v Mali game (assuming they get through) is 5pm kick off UK time.
Spurs Everton is 12.30pm.

like people moaning about PEH being at the club when in reality he is 4th choice and only playing due to a crisis - some of our fans think it’s an outrage we don’t have Pirlo as 4th choice

Well. There's a bit of a gulf between Pirlo and Hojbjerg init. We just need someone that doesn't chit themselves under a bit of pressure and can get box to box. Basically another Sarr. Gallagher has obviously been identified as perfect. A player like that should be 30m ish.

PEH is a good squad option imo. He's played really well the last 2 games, except the last 10 minutes v City when he was completely done. Not sure you can ask much more of a 3rd/4th choice.

Personally think we'd be wasting money buying another midfielder.

Yeah. Another youngster that's better than Hojbjerg that cost less. There's a bunch of them around.

Hojbjerg apparently wants to leave, there's apparently decent clubs after him. Any transfer only needs to be a net zero spend. Keeping a player we know isn't good enough who wants to go isn't smart.

We have shown a lot this season that the forward line and even lacking creativity in midfield, even with Maddison, to create more and be more clinical with the improved play style

Madrid are spending £52m on Endrick who never played European football.

It’s a risk reward situation

I think there's a decent chance we'd have had to loan him next season to get minutes anyway. I think he's made the right choice

Yea he’s exceptional that’s why you go big on him same as we should on any potential young players
