I think there's a decent chance we'd have had to loan him next season to get minutes anyway. I think he's made the right choice

If he doesn't have the confidence to want to play for us then we need him.

If he sees Brentford as the best option for him right now, he has taken the easy route. Another reason not to be sad about him.

17 games to prove himself.

Johnson getting so much stick for not being great right away is another good reason to not sign Nusa.

Although tbf he started really well. Just had a meh few games

He started quite badly
Then became diabolical for several games.
I did think though that he was alright against City and I'd probably have kept him on.

He started quite well, as in I think he came on off the bench in his first game for about 10 minutes and showed some promise, but most games it really seems to be more bad than good with him.

I want him to succeed cause he has a good pace and build to start off with, but the footballing brain isn't there. At least yet. Whether it's ever going to catch up I don't know. We've had many wingers over the years and most of them have been pretty meh. To find one who can consistently turn in good performances and contribute to goals is difficult. Even Kulu after a really good first season hasn't been nearly as good.

What a difference half a season and a couple of transfer windows makes. There's really not much deadwood left.

In the summer I'd look to upgrade on Hojbjerg and Gil. Lo Celso can go as he barely plays anyway, Devine to come in.

Need a Sessegnon replacement too

Guy can't stay fit either. Such a shame
