Starting to realise why Chelsea didn’t sell us Conor Gallagher.

Why? Because he scored twice against the most out of form team in the league who were missing their 3 best players? That’s the first decent half of football he’s had all season.

I didn’t say we needed him, but we were definitely sniffing around him for most of the window, and I assume Ange has some input in that.

Same agency as Ange and Madders. Ange has wanted him since last summer. HG and much better than Skipp. Good replacement for PEH.

Once a club doesn't want you the love dissappears. If we can offer him CL football next season, why not?

Good player, Gallagher. Think he'd do well in Sarr's role. Gonna need more options with Europe next season.

I reckon his preference is to stay at Chelsea but at the end of the day it’s a job for these guys and if we make champions league (Chelsea wont) it’s a better career move ….we are certainly going in a better direction than them too

More I watch of gallagher the more I want him

Think they need to raise £100m by mid June which is the cut off for the year end accounts. They have 10 players on loan including Lolkaku, Broja and other youth players.

Other clubs will be low balling for all of them.

100% agree. He is a Chelsea boy born and bred since early 2000’s, small time Spurs hating mentality, he will never be fully committed to playing for us, just another Jason Cundy. Fack him, I wouldn’t mind if he was top class but he’s bang average and the only reason we’re interested is because he’s English and we might be able to get him on the cheap, he’s really not all that good.

Best avoided IMO.

We're just trolling at this point. We've taken their cheaper, younger De Jong and now we want the real thing to rub their noses in it.

There's nothing in this though. What would be the point? His wages are through the roof and it would hinder Bergvall's progress. It goes against club policy. We're already struggling to get midfield players in the matchday squad. This would make things even worse.
