I mean like you said there's nothing in it but you don't turn down players as good as frenkie because you have some 18 year old
we're going to turn into chelsea or man united at this rate.
there comes a point where the club needs to say to ange, we've bought you a fantastic squad, now do something with it.
what? we still have plenty of work to do with the squad

There is much less dross to get rid of than we had this time last year
We should absolutely still be busy in the summer window

This. Players like Sess, Hobby, Skipp, Gil, GLC, maybe Davies and Solomon, will need their futures reviewing and sold if need be.
We may need full back, midfield cover and more options up top. Not to mention a better back up keeper.

then what?
then we'll need more signings after that, squads are never complete. city just won the treble and spent 80m on a defender. you don't just put your feet up and say "squads good now go win"
Looks like we're setting up a partnership with Bergvall's club...

I guess that makes us the Real Madrid of THIS partnership
RB Leipzig are expecting #Tottenham to activate the purchase option in Timo Werner’s loan deal at the end of the season.
@SPORTBILD
£15m is it? Think he is on £125k a week though. He needs to start banging in goals which has always been his problem.
meh, if he gets an assist every other game he's a fine backup for that price

The wages will be the bigger issue. I think he signs in the end but a sub on that wages becomes a bigger problem when other bit part players start grumbling about their own salaries.

Has anyone seen this twaaaat on Twitter? He keeps appearing on my feed with the most ridiculous suggestions. He doesn’t want De Jong but insists if we sign Onana from Everton we win the league. I think it’s the forthright nature of his opinions that does my head in.
Correct link

Not sure about winning the league but he has a point about Onana being a better fit than De Jong, who like De Ligt is very over rated.
Something about that old Ajax team which doesn't add up. Fairplay to them for getting max value for alot of them but maybe only Ziyech has done well but even then, he was a bit part player at Chelsea.
In recent times only Kudas has done well since leaving them.
But you are right about the X handle, he is very forthright and thinks the sun shines out of alot of the main Spurs characters like Ange and Maddison in particular. To the point where it is abit cringe.
I unfollowed him along time ago.
#Tottenham are taking steps to try and sign Hertha Berlin midfield starlet Boris Mamuzah. Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and other top clubs are also tracking the player, but he has already visited #Spurs, back in December, and was even brought to their home match against Bournemouth, as part of an attempt to convince the player that Spurs are the right destination for him.

I was perfectly aware this sort of response was possible but thought I’d post anyway. I’m not gonna engage with stuff like that. Think what you want.
