Archie Gray is very good talent.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mahbe so, but I just don't see what he brings to the table that we couldn't find in our U21 squad
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is head shoulders above anyone in our U21 squad lol.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Genuinely, how many times have you watched him play?
I'll hold my hands up and say no more than 6 for me, and never Once has he stood out as better than the rest of the leeds players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He was 17 years old for most of the season and playing well above his age. And he is a CM by trade and played RB. He has played 47 times this season. Amazing effort.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
OK great. But how many times have you seen him play?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A few more times than you maybe? He has been receiving rave reviews all season. If you don't rate him, fair enough.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds good but the PL is a different animal. We've seen Sessegnon and Skipp both do well in the Championship at a young age and not succeed with us.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dele, Kane and Maddison all played in the championship.
As did Eze, Olise and Wharton.
If he gets a move to the prem he will do as well as Wharton has done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Some players make the transition well and some don't. Just saying, it's hard to really get too hyped up on a Championship player showing good form at a young age.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A few on here wanted us to sign Alex Scott last season. They have probably forgotten about him now so you have a point, of course but Gray has the composure and build to make the jump.
If there is a chance to sign Gray I wouldn't mind him at all, especially if we can cash in on Rodon at the same time, but other big teams will be after Gray.
Gray is clearly a quality young player but he’s got to show that due to circumstances over ours academy players who get stuck in our system.
If we can buy him then we should & there should be a opportunity due to the mess financial situation Leeds are in.
Who will be Spurs 1st signing of the window, any bets

Better off finding a needle in a haystack. An easier question would be who will be the first to be sold.

Nottingham Forest winger Callum Hudson-Odoi was offered to #Tottenham, however, Johan Lange was thought to be against the idea of signing him.

I think he’d been a decent squad option adding home grown aswell.
We really need two top attackers coming in though
Fab
EXCLUSIVE: Tottenham advance in talks to keep Timo Werner at the club for one more season, extending loan from RB Leipzig.
New loan deal would be valid from July 2024 to June 2025 with same conditions of loan deal agreed in January.
Werner, now expected to stay at #THFC
Oh no
Actually another loan is not the end of the world tbf. A 4 year contract would be horrible.
Timo Werner & Brennan Johnson are both distinctly average…
We need to be aiming for better players, surely?!!!!!….
Eze & Kudus… that’s who we should be aiming for
Perfect scenario. Another season to gauge whether he’s worth the outlay without affecting any of our summer budget. Personally I think he’ll manage to convince some of the doubters by this time next year. He needs to be viewed as a winger that occasionally scores rather than a striker that misses. The important part is that he provides really well. Good squad player for Europe ππΌ

As a loan heading into a European season he’s a no brainer. We need numbers as well as quality.
I'm hoping the feeling within the club is that Werner on loan for another season would be a good stop gap whilst Moore keeps progressing.
Also it would allow funds to be used for a right winger and forward maybe?

I don't think we are signing him on loan with a view to sign him permanetly. He has already had 5 months. If he was that good we would pay for him now.

Onana at Everton actually good? just seen Everton may have to sell everyone
Don't think he is worth the £60m they want for him but only 22yrs old. He has done well when fit but not sure about his passing and link up play.
