Like I say, in general it implies that the cash flow of the business is limitless. Like Chelsea doing super long contracts so if they end up selling Mudryk for 10m in a couple of years it won't hurt their spending limit. But they're down 80m in real terms. What you could spend and what you can spend is very different. Like when they said Spurs had 400m FFP room. Doesn't mean the cash is there

We should repeat the Gray trick and sign a winger that's also happy playing AM. Bonus points if Gil goes the other way
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The cauliflower guy for Italy would be an ideal back up/rotation player for Udogie and Micky.

Bologna expect Premier League clubs to bid for Riccardo Calafiori, as revealed.
Director Sartori confirms: “I think he will NOT end up joining Juventus”.
“Probably he can go abroad, in case we decide to sell him…”.
“We’d like to keep Calafiori so let’s see what happens”.
Amortization rationale is also a ridiculous way to look at things as if you are using that exact argument, then you need to consider all the other amortized contracts that are currently relevant.

Not for individual transfers when we are selling someone like Rodon. We don't need to go to deep.

Yes, discussing the individual amortised value of individual players certainly isn’t deep

Tottenham showing a firm interest in Désiré Doué. One other player they'd previously edged away from is back under consideration. Pedro Neto #THFC
- Paul O'Keefe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Picture the scene
Pedro Neto in a spurs shirt, tearing the opposition apart, limb from limb
They can't deal with it, they can't cope, they're all over the place, ganging up on him and leaving spaces all over their defence for our other attackers
Neto goes down injured with a bad hammy and is out for 6 months
Getting warmed up to replace him... Timo Werner
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bit cringe this

Isn't Neto a RW anyway? I'm assuming that makes Kulusevski the striker option.. not convinced that's a convincing proposition for the couple of months Richarlison is out
Neto plays both wings but yeah he’d probably be our starting RW

Also Neto can play both wings and the lad Doue at Rennes has played in 8 different positons during his short career but recently played left wing and CM alot.
do we have the three best CBs in the world?

I'd be truly facked off if we thought it was worth paying £60m for Richarlison, but not Eze
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but at the time we wanted a striker, went in for Jesus and got the bridesmaid in Richy. The talent weren't out there was it?
