The fact arsenal were pretty much nailed on to sign Toney this summer and have turned away from it is a sign something isn’t right

Better or worse we need a genuine alternative IMO. Big lump like Toney or a proper quick guy like Openda. Richarlison can't really do ball in behind or back to goal very well. Same with Giminez.

Not keen on that new blue away kit. Don't mind the home one but it does echo the lasagne years when we weren't all that good.

After all these years, nothing beats the Dutch '88 kit.

I like the green third kit I've seen around. Not sure if it's official yet

David's goal scoring record is better than Richy's. Yes, different leagues but for a Canadian striker he has done well for his club. Not as moody as Richy and David looks quicker than. I would say he is much better and only 24 yrs old.

Bales is judging him from when he played for Canada who are chit.

Yeah I think he looks very average for his country. Not particularly quick, certainly not strong or grate in the air. I think he'd finish a bunch of cutbacks but not do much different to Richy around the box and not win as many headers.

I wouldn't be mad if we signed him, for 25m it's whatever. But I'd rather we signed a definite first XI upgrade, even if that means a AM or RW instead

Yeah no offence Fridge but you thought we should sign Werner on a perm and now you want Toney, even though he has a reputation for being a c00ck. He is 28 yrs old and doesn't fit the current profile of players we have signed on long contracts.
