Just read Palace seem confident of replacing Olise with someone who could be better over time than Olise.

Forget Brighton. Follow the Palace model. They are going to sign Kamada as well on a free, so Eze's replacement is sorted.

Solomon is just a myth.

Not worried about Chelsea. I actually think we could trump them for transfer targets these days. They no longer want to commit to astronomical wages and I think the chaotic issues at the club could put a lot off. Only Palmer has been a success from all their recent signings. You’re more likely to go for Ange and Spurs as a more settled environment. Plus we’ve got Europe.

Yeah, just seen that. I can't say I know an awful lot about the guy but a lot of Spurs fans seem underwhelmed by the idea. Seems to have a decent goal return but it's Holland. Two words - Vincent and Janssen.

I'd prefer the guarantee of Toney personally. We KNOW he'd score goals.

I know nothing of Giminez other than the clips on YouTube that I've seen, and my takehome word when watching them was that he looked 'clunky'

I may be completely wrong, but like fridge, I'd prefer the familiarity of Toney over Giminez, even if Toney is a bit of a helmet

Ally Gold has just said David IS on the Spurs list but Gimenez isn't.

Likewise I know little about Jonathan David but he feels like a better fit from the little I've seen. Again, another gamble if he's coming from the French league. I'm team Toney all the way. Can't quite understand why so many Spurs fans oppose that potential move. We can't take chances with that central striker role. We need someone we KNOW can do the job.

The fact arsenal were pretty much nailed on to sign Toney this summer and have turned away from it is a sign something isn’t right
