From what I’ve seen of kolo muani, I’m not particularly impressed but interested in others thoughts on him as a potential signing. Put it this way, i don’t think he’s good enough to be an automatic starter, he would just be another squad option and we already have moore, odobert, johnson at that level.

If we do sign an attacker then they should be a starter level IMO

Ricky back in training means nothing. He will a game or part of one and be injured again. He is becoming a pointless player for us.

I don't think BJ gets into the French squad. Muani has 27 caps and 8 goals.

He is defo a notch above Moore Odobert BJ

Why would that make you suspect about his mentality? The PSG fans on Reddit seem to agree he's not very good in the box, isn't a good finisher, and isn't a very good dribbler. His best attributes are that he's tall and fast. Not seen anyone saying anything about his attitude. More that he's not a good fit for a possession based team

I want to see us sign Jonathan David if we're to go for anyone from the French league. I understand we wouldn't be able to get a player like that in January but if it meant we got him in the summer I'd rather forego signing a cheaper less proven option now. The season is as good as a write off anyway.

Just seen a vague link to Delap from Ben Jacobs. Not the best for transfer news but he would be very good.

I kinda think that someone who went for 95m euros and on £160-200k wages can offer more than pace and height. He was a goal or assist almost every game at Frankfurt, now he's about a third of that at PSG. And when i say attitude, i dont mean toxic lazy slacker, just that he seems to have lost that edge and may be a nice big comfortable contract has taken a bit of his hunger.

think striker will have to wait until we can sell Richarlison, likewise a top midfielder in the summer when we can assess futures of Bissouma and Bentancur.

At least it’s encouraging to see them buy a goalkeeper that has the potential to suit the style we play.

Not like last January where we just scrambled around for whoever was available and ended up with Werner and dragusin

Pretty much fall down.

If we're looking to sign a striker in January then I think we should go all out for Liam Delap. I'd much prefer him to that Muani fella. Not sure what Delap's contract situation is though.

But agree. I reckon we will prioritise a left sided defender who can play in both places and a winger.

for sure, most players should be evaluated and offers listened to at the right price

Bissouma and Bentancur play such an important role in the team though and neither have shown they are consistent and disciplined enough for that role

Yeah I’d rather we sign well in January than sign out of desperation. Dragusin is an example of this, good player but not suited to us and probably set us back in the king term unless we can get some good dolla for him

i think we left our self short at least one player after last summer in defence though, so would like to add at least a left sided defender because we have seen the state our defence is now, Romero and VdV hardly liable to staying available consistently when theyre back either

well obviously we'd rather sign well but out of desperation but with the defenders why even having that are coming back there are improvements and strengthening that can still be done there

If we were in a more promising situation this season I'd be more up for bringing in new additions to bolster the squad but we've been a complete joke so far. And yeah, if they're going to be cheap options just to increase the numbers I'd rather just wait. It's like with that forward player we've been linked to from the French league. I'd rather we waited until January and tried getting someone more substantial like Jonathan David, than another N'haircut type.
