Keeps Potter on the market for England or if it should not go well for Ange this season, would people be happy to give Potter a go?
Nah I'd not be happy with Potter
Think I'd be lost as to where to look next should Ange not work out as I swear we've completed the Manager market by now!
We're (almost) just as bad as Chelsea...
I'm less enamoured with Potter as a pick as I used to be, since his spell at Chelsea. Even though I still think he's a decent manager I don't want us to keep going for ex-Chelsea. It would be the same with Poch now.
Let's just hope it works out for Ange cause yeah, I can't think of many other options either.

I hope it works out for Ange as I like him but if we continue to concede and our form isn’t great in the first 10 games (opposite to last season) I can see levy getting any itchy trigger finger
If poch is still available I can see him coming back ….not sure how I feel about it though

Only saw WLB say on SC he is
Anges dream 🛌. Club trying to stay under the radar for this one but believe ange Lange may have sold the player the dream . Jorge might be an issue as he’s a crafty funk and can’t be trusted . He’s gettable in fees tho wages are steep but in line .
(Jorge Mendes, player's agent)
Dunno if there are any more rumours
There's no way Levy sanctions a deal for Neto with his injury record. The risk is far too high. WLB also said we were in for Eze and it won't be both so I'd take it with the usual pinch of salt.
The one I didn't want cropping up was a move for Everton's Onana, which Paul O'Keefe has said we like a lot. That confuses me. At the end of last year, he couldn't even get in the Everton side. He flatters to deceive. He's just a sideways pass merchant. I've never seen anything that justifies the hype.

You have to give the guy a bit of a break as he's playing for a Dyche Everton, where a free kick 20 yards in their own half is an attacking opportunity.
I don't think he has much more to offer than Bissouma other than a bit more urgency & energy in what he does and a bit more physicality & height. Certainly a big upgrade on PEH.

I'm not so sure.
I'm just judging him with my own eyes and I don't see anywhere near the same level of talent as Bissouma. He might be more defensively solid than Biss but he's not a ball carrier, like a Dembele, in the same way.
I'd heard a lot of hype around him a few months ago but I couldn't really see what it was everyone else was seeing. Then I saw Carragher on MNF say pretty much the same thing so I knew it wasn't just me as a fan not necessarily knowing my onions. If ex-pros are saying the same thing then it should make you sit up and take notice. I just see another Sissoko to be honest and for the price mooted, we could do better. Remember, City paid £60m for Rodri, which is roughly what Onana would cost. The gap between those two is laughable. Rodri makes Onana look like National League level. I really hope we don't waste our money on him. I'm really, really not convinced.

I would have Biss as the more talented but sometimes i feel his talent becomes too casual. He's not like Dembele in that he can retain possession under any pressure but he acts like he can.
Onana is less creative, more of a powerful driving player than a calm baller.
One thing i really fee we need is greater physical presence. The loss of Kane and Dier has in my opinion, contributed to our set piece mess and they have not be replaced by players of equal physical presence or heading ability. We're a small team in this respect and even the big ones like VDV are not particularly dominant in the air.
