It's getting a little bit frustrating at the lack of transfer action regarding the first team (not Parrott). Ange explicitly said he wanted business done early to help with pre-season yet we're stalling on selling Emerson because we want more money, no movement on PEH or any other outgoings and absolutely no incomings despite the fact that the only player we're rumoured to be interested still playing international football is Eze. If it's Doue we want, go and get him. If it's Neto, go and get him. Sick of the way we operate to save a few pennies.

With all due respect Fridge, last summer you were convinced we should have spunk £80m on Ferguson from Brighton after selling Kane.

Relax. First pre season game is on Wed. The need to shift players is on par with bringing players in.

They look like they are operating like us though in that we seem to approach and agree personal terms with loads of players in the positions we want and then end up choosing one.

United have been linked with 3 or 4 CBs and while they may need probably 2, they seem to be giving themselves options.

The fact they bought that Zirkzee guy for 40m euros kinda points to a club that is not in a great position to spend too big, or is having to spread itself a bit thin over multiple positions. He's ok and an unknown in the PL, but there are better more expensive talents out there, which they have ignored, i presume on the basis of affordability.

Emerson looks like he may go to AC quite soon.

Seem to be showing big interest in that Doue chap from Rennes, cannot admit to knowing anything about him.

I remain very relaxed at this window, yes we need upgrades to progress, but it’s minor surgery compared to other recent windows.

Bayern have put a first bid in for Doue - 35m Euros. They're likely to come back in again. Not looking good on that one lads as apparently he's their priority. Unless he's cut like Dragusin, we're going to lose out on him in a straight fight. Maybe we've already moved on?
