Well obviously his first season(s) he had Bentaleb, Mason, Kane, Dele, Carroll (I cant think who else) who he brought through as your/kind of brought through. Dried up seriously bad after KWP, Winks, Skipp and Parrot getting some minutes but Winks the only genuine minutes.
Onomah seemed the biggest waste. A Dembele type midfielder who we continually played out of position or never played at all until his career beyond stagnated
I even think the player Winks became after/due to Poch was underwhelming. Neither really a 6 or an 8. Kind of a jack of all trades that we have now (even though he is finally developing).
I think some assume when the talk about poch developing young players they automatically think academy but he did a lot for ones we bought in or already around the first team.

My biggest gripe is how he did put so many in the training zone and then left them to rot there.
I think the more we got better and the pressure went up he stopped doing what got him there
Who do credit though? Someone who gave them their debut and a few games or someone you stuck with them and made them what they are today?
Because if it’s the latter then Redknapp would’ve technically bought Kane through

----------------------------------------------------------------------
yeah but he didn't bring any of Bentaleb, Carroll, Mason, Kane through
Dele yes, he was in charge when Dele was purchased
Onamah, was seriously wasted.
Each time he was used, was in a different position as you and because of that, he looked so out of depth
I think Poch did a fantastic job for us, but I also think he was miscredited with a lot of youth players promotions
Tim Sherwood if anyone was the guy who put faith in them as he had previously worked with them during his time at the club
Poch no doubt improved certain players, but e did not promote many as he has been credited with historically
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t think anyone had given Mason minutes before him though.
However I think, Bentaleb aside, he deserves credit for all mentioned. Even if a youth player has played a few games doesn’t mean they were “brought through” so to speak. They were all still very much youth players with limited first team minutes that he took a risk on

Poch’s biggest fack ups have to be KWP and Onomah though. That is real sheit.
To an extent though, this is why Europa is so brilliant. It’s what has brought through Kane, Dele, Rashford, Saka etc etc. Low pressure football where youth players can play serious minutes (I’m not gonna lie, I love the Europa)

Literally our history is built on the Europa as well. Those Feyenoord nights is what fans still talk about. Would love to win it.
Prem > CL > Europa > Fa > LC is my list of worthwhile trophies.
Unless we win LC or FA then obviously becomes number one laugh
Btw winks is getting so many good comments on his game today everywhere bar here

Yea mainly sandy tbf he just makes so many comments it just feels like a 100 people
Winks has been really good under Jose, but I feel his biggest issue is you have to play Sissoko if you are playing winks (currently). There is something just missing.

Sandy has this thing where he will make a comment that is met with a bit of resistance from a few people
he will think... ''that got a reaction''
the he will continue to mention it on every single thread going and as he mentions it each time, he convinces himself of it more and more until it becomes FACT and he has 'always said that...' and he 'has been banging the drum...' etc
I still to this day can't put my finger on whether he is a wum or not
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I honestly just think he's a sad, not very intelligent old man who needs attention. Not really a full-blown WUM - he definitely believes a lot of what he says, though sometimes he's clearly just trying it on.
have we signed anyone yet
