We have one that we can count on ( just ).
Lamela & dele are a waste of a squad place & GLC hasn’t shown much / injured
Dele isn’t a waste though, it’s just Jose doesn’t want to use him but I’d imagine a Ndombele and GLC injury crisis and Dele would be getting more regular minutes.
Or even maybe Stevie B could do a job considering he was more of a creative player than a goal scorer before he came to spurs.
I think we are well covered for creative mids under what Jose wants. Under another manager like Poch we would be light.
Not sure why we would want to bring back someone who for the last 6 months or more of his time here showed no commitment or desire to this football club at all, it was like he had lost the plot completely, how could you turn that around?
For me it would be like the Great Bale Robbery
Players who have came back off the top of my head
Defoe
Keane
Klinsmann
Anyone else?
Defoe was a roaring success

Eriksen has been on the decline now for a couple of seasons. We should be signing players who have yet to hit their peak or are at their peak, not players who have seen their best days
Eriksen links keep growing...I know Levy and Jose tried everything to keep him, but it was down to his family wanting a move, but it hasn't worked out for the player.
Looks like he is missing playing football, so really, he should look to drop his wages to join us?
Re-signing Eriksen just seems like it's asking for trouble. How about signing somebody who is in form rather than out of it? Shouldn't that be the standard?

Unless Jose thinks he can do something with Eriksen's remarkable form and desire loss! I know when Jose used to comment on our games, he used to shower Eriksen with some superlatives and liked him a lot.
It's like the Bale gamble, but at least, Eriksen has some match fitness

Aren't there any other options, less money better form, rising rather than declining, Mourinho has a history of bringing in ageing footballers, doesn't give the youth players any confidence
LLoris is off?
Declined a new contract?
He is also getting on a bit, though keepers can go on till 35 or more in some cases

Well, he has got a few youngsters in the first team, and has given them match time.
But seems to prefer players who have been there and done it.

I'm aware of what Mourinho prefers, but that's not exactly the best for the club, stops the progress of the youth players at the club

Devine has lit up our academy. I’m pretty sure the time he’s 18 he’ll be a main squad player for us.
I’d take him over Sissoko right now

I have to put a disclaimer on the last comment - I usually don't put out anything from the express.
It's a slow news day today
And I won't click on a link to the Mail/Express/Telegraph either

Edgar Miliato to Tottenham seems possible…

Valencia want winks on loan
Be ridiculous to get rid of him in January without a player coming in and not getting rid of others first.
