Yeah I think ask the crying about midfielders ignores Ndombele and Lo Celso. Strikers, we're back to trying to sign a backup while Nuno has clearly been told to use the youth.

Seems so far that Ndombele won’t get a look in and GLC has been a bit part player. Nunos preference of PEH, Skipp and Dele is combative and will look to move the ball forward quickly to runners, but there’s not much craft or ball retention in there. Nonetheless still better than Winks & Sissoko with their safe passes and poor positional play.

I'm not so sure that's cut and dried. Nuno seems to be very Poch with not playing someone that wants a move. Now the window's shut surely Ndombele will be brought back in. I can't see Levy being ok with him not making the squad for much longer.

Lo Celso needs to earn his place. He came back late from the Copa and tbf with 3 wins out of 3 it's harsh to drop anyone. But I don't see that he's out of favour at all.

I like filling out with academy players/u23s, it's the quality or realiability of the others that are the issue.

We are not short anywhere but striker, Son or Kane can't play 2 games every week.

It's not the effort it's just he's not a machine unfortunately, looks majority off pace when rushed back or overplayed
