It's funny that Lingard is a reverse Dele. They were waiting and waiting for him to come good and he finally does at the end of his career. Yeah I'd have him as a stop gap till the end of the season. We need to freshen things up. Plus you just know Conte would like him.

I remember he had a previous spell at United where he was excellent for a bit. Scored a great goal during it where he went past a few players.

His best in't as good as Dele's best, but Dele seems a lot further from his best than Lingard. If we had the Lingard that went to West Ham he'd help us get into the top 4 though. Nothing like that will come from Dele right now.

If we are in for Lamptey then I assume Traore won't be coming, which I'd be fine with as Lamptey is a lot better. But how are we supposed to afford him when Levy was struggling to pay over £15m for Traore?

More chance of Sandy being our top scorer this season than Lamptey coming this window.

It will be Traore and possibly 1 other senior player if we’re lucky. Might get one of the 3 or 4 youth players we’ve been linked with.

I suspect Conte will remain with us for the rest of the season, but if we fack up in the market this summer then he will walk. Levy will have nowhere to hide in the summer - Kessie, Vlahovic, De Vrij - if that’s who he wants then Levybhas to push the boat out to get at least 2 of those
