I hate it when our so called transfer targets are splashed all over the media. We all know in our hearts that both of these targets are likely to be hijacked by other clubs.

I do wish we would just get a move on when signing players, instead of these long protracted transfer sagas, most of which never materialise.

As I have said before, I will not believe Spurs have signed a player, until I actually see them in a Spurs shirt.

Has anyone seen Lo Celso play? More importantly what’s his fifa stats? Strength, pace and skill?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Never seen him, will probably be another Lamela if the truth be told.

But seems AWB has his heart set on Man U who are once again looking to try and buy their way back into contention.

cant see anything but them failing again though. absolutely no balance or logic to their signings. didnt they just sign a RB in the last window? theyre literally linked to every player under the sun and they havent even sold anyone yet have they?

Assuming Eriksen departs...

---------------- Lloris ------------
-New RB - Toby - Verts - Rose
--------- Winks ---- N'Dombélé-
----------------Lo Celso ----------
----------- Son ----- Dele --------
----------------- Kane -------------

Players on the bench:
Lucas, Sissoko, Sanchez, Trippier, Dier, Sessengon, new Striker

Win the league with a bit to spare...

----------------------------------------------------------------------

They would be two incredible signings for us. Them and a new right back - they are the obvious gaping holes we need to plug. If we can add quality to these areas, as per the team you’ve put up, we would have a core of players good enough to challenge for the league. My fantasy team for us next season would be

__________Lloris
Bissaka_Toby__Vert__Rose
___Ndombele_Lo Celso
Moura_____Dele_____Son
__________Kane

But seems AWB has his heart set on Man U who are once again looking to try and buy their way back into contention.

Accuses others of buying their way back yet posts a team with one academy player and a team that would cost well in excess of 200m

That is what the media tends to do....doesn’t mean we are interested otherwise we would have a squad of about 100 players and have spent close to 2 billion

yeah, agree

It doesn't seem like Ole knows what he's style of play is

If you look at Pep, Klopp and Poch, they have a style which is attributed to them and players know their roles within each style.

They are looking to buy a "prestige" marquee name to appease the crowd

2. One of them unfortunately being Lingard. We aren’t accusing others however of spending to get their way to the top mind

That's because United tend to buy expensive players and buy wantonly

Winks and Kane should both be starting for Spurs next season, also. 2 players from the youth set up is a lot for the premier league. Teams like Arsenal dont even have any english players.

We had a very bad season in terms of injuries, not least due to hastened pre-season and players playing so many games, due to World cup commitments

It would make a huge difference to have a better season without the injuries

And now we are playing at WHL, instead of the unknowing of last season

I think Ace's line up is a tad open and not sure we play with 'wingers' very well. All come in far too narrow. Definitely looks as though we are keen on a LB and RB this window, meaning full backs are pivotal to how we play, with them providing the width.

The 3 players being linked in the starting lineup above.

AWB
Lo Celso
Dombele

Could cost as much as £210m!

Any of you really see Spurs spending that this summer?

Fair play, you may as well get Mbappe in for £200m to sit behind Kane on the bench then.

We’ve hardly spent a bean (net) the last decade, it’s about time we made a serious investment in our squad as it needs a rebuild. Utd have spent hundreds and hundreds of millions since Fergie retired, there is an obvious difference between the approach of the two clubs the last few years and to suggest otherwise is totally disingenuous.

Besides, that’s just a sample team. Harry Winks, another academy product will likely be in a first 11, and Skipp will be in the squad. We’ve blooded young players consistently even if they aren’t all direct from the academy. Walker Peters is another academy product likely to be in next seasons squad and we are expecting to see more of Parrott next season too. Plus Rose joined us at 17 and Dele at 18.

Yeah we do spend a hell of a lot of money spunking most of it up the wall. However we have as much money as anyone in world football. No point sitting at a bank balance looking pretty. Most spurs fans complain about levy being too tight and not spending any money.
We also have a tradition of bringing through youngsters and it’s been over 84 yrs since we didn’t have an academy graduate in the squad. Next season we will have Rashford, Lingard, McTominay, Perreira, Greenwood all getting game time

Ace, United supporter having a pop at Spurs for spending money. You couldn`t make it up, with the amount of money they waste.
