What about an Isco straight swap?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Rarely happen.... Not sure that deal would happen as ZZ played Isco a lot last time he was coach there. For once I actually wanna back Levy on this one. If Eriksen wants to Join RM.... No problem, the Px is 80mln cash.. Take it or leave it.
With all that said, if the offer from Spurs to Eriksen had been somewhere close to 200K a week he'd have probably signed it 12 months ago. Knowing Levy it was probably a number of Par with Dele (who's been dog shlt for 12 months)
Bale’s agent already said he is not going out on loan. Quote..” there is more chance of me winning at Ascot than him going on loan. It’s not going to happen”
Am afraid to say if I was swapping Eriksen for someone at RM then he would be bottom of my pile. I would want a younger player than Bale, on form and less injury prone. Eriksens position is key to our game and we need someone at the top of their game and at Eriksens level or above to replace him.
The times I have watched him this season he has been average or poor at best. Perhaps the situation with the club hasn’t helped but he could have tried to turn that round on the pitch but he never did.
Really don’t get this Bale love in.

What about Real do player part-exchange with Pogba or any other club to dodge the FFP, and just pay the £130m for Eriksen?

I think Real are in a win/win situation here. With only 1 year left, they can afford to wait...Even to the point of letting Eriksen stay this year and get him for next to nothing the following year?
Levy is not winning this one...
Would not surprise me one bit if Liverpool made a bid. What did Spurs offer him in the end?
Ceballos might be worth £30m and adding £50m cash into the offer might look great totalling £80m. But is Ceballos a player we want in the first place?
It's a bit like us offering Janssen, N'Koudou and Edwards + £20m for AWB.
I think Real will happily wait, they have one of the best midfielders in the world in Hazard and could get Eriksen for free next summer but can tie the deal up in January by which time they will know how the new team is bedding down. In the PL both Liverpool and United need to improve in midfield but no idea if they would be interested. Chelsea cannot sign anyone but would be glad of him I am sure, Arsenal would be a non runner and City have better already.
Unless PSG sell Neymar and get all giddy with the cash it is Real, United or Liverpool.
Good player, wants a shot at a big contract and to win something, will get it this summer or next.

But sadly if you don't pay players what they are worth then you get down to the last year & this situation happens

Yep. We're looking at attacking midfielders and I'd say he fits the bill.
Given Levy's reputation I still think its far more likely that what we offered Eriksen is way below market value than some underlying urge from Eriksen to try something new.
He plays in London for a team that makes the Top 4, has just played in a CL Final in a team full of internationals for one of the highest regarded coaches in European football.
Its no coincidence he's came straight out and said he'd like to join a club who pay stupid wages who, Oh by the way have a ton of players than play like him, have just signed Hazard , are publicly going after Pogba having already splurged 300mln....... "experience something new".... my ar5e... If there was 200K a week on the table from Levy today, he'd sign it before lunchtime

Eriksen was brought in to Spurs as an up and coming promising player and matured into a really clever talented player who only had one bad season and in every season, was one to cover most of the pitch too so he can work his socks off.
And yet he is on £75 a week at Spurs whereas a lazy Sanchez is on 4000 times more a week!
Enough to put off anyone staying tbh
Tight git Levy needs to review this situation up close

Napoli getting James on loan then £30m buy option. Napoli aren't a bigger club than Spurs at the moment and James is a good player. £30m is nothing for that calibre today.

Hmmm you are the current European champions and a genuine chance to go far in next years CL where as Spurs it seems as it was a one off (obviously I hope I'm wrong).
Plus you have a genuine chance at the title.
Spurs may have a chance at the title if Levy backs us this summer but at the moment that's not happening.
If Liverpool were to come in for him and Spurs accepted the bid I could see him agreeing to join you.
Spurs had the chance to buy James Maddison at Leicester, very cheaply last summer, and he would have been the ideal understudy for Eriksen and we could have been in a better position with Eriksen with the knowledge we have Maddison there.
As a side note Maddison stats show that he averages 2.8 key passes per game along with 1.4 dribbles and 2.3 shots.
Christian Eriksen, by comparison, averages 2.1 key passes, 0.5 dribbles and 2.4 shots.
