I thought his love of the club would make him stay but i also know he won't achieve much more with us and he's got a chance to go to a top 6 club in the EPL.
If he has one stellar season down there then he'll go on to even bigger and better things.
He'll improve as a player down there and the sky is the limit for him.
don't get the fascination with the Rosenberg boy, as jfk said that Cristian Wulf was very surprised of the Celtic fan love in with him on Twitter
would be a Barisic type signing
What’s all this nonsense about him staying for 9 or even 10 in a row?
It wouldn’t be his 9 or 10 as he’s only featured in about 3 and a half of them. It’s the clubs should it happen and there will be over a hundred players and likely 4 or 5 managers who can claim to have been part of it.
He’s potentially got a life changing opportunity which undoubtedly improve him and could even catapult him even further if things go well.
Or he could stay at a club and continue to maybe win most things domestically but get another injury or at the least required to play a stupid 60 odd games in a season often through injuries whilst getting battered senseless in Europe and earning maybe a fifth of the money.
In other words he’d be mental not to make a move and I think other clubs than Arsenal won’t even quibble about £25-27m. He’ll go and we will still be a club going for 9 or 10.
Good luck to him. I won’t be scouting the papers to see how he fares but will take some small satisfaction if he proves the usual arrogant doubters wrong much in the same way as VVD did.
He’ll also be under way more pressure than Robertson due simply to the fee involved.
"No one in their right mind would give up £5m and the chance to play at a big epl club for the chance to play in a ten in a row team ".
Mmm. I think a Celtic supporter would.

I have no special insight into whether KT will leave or not.- I'm not itk nor do I claim to be. But I kinda side with Joe on this - wtf is a supposed Celtic fan doing signing for Arsenal a couple of years away from making history? Celtic would also make him a millionaire, sow much money does a kid of his age need? And, if he is going to try to develop more as a footballer - wtf is he going to Arsenal????
And this armchair analysis leads me to (hopefully) conclude that KT is going nowhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I do have special insight and I am ITK. So there !
He'll be away this summer. Only thing that will stop it is if his injuries continue to be a problem.

Here’s a relevant question.
Did we genuinely miss Tierney that much when he was out injured so much this season? As in were there any truly important games he would have changed had he played?
I don’t think so. We might have played a bit better but I can’t think where his non appearance would have changed the result in all honesty.
Might be wrong though and I’d be pleased to hear of a game this scenario was a likelihood.

We missed him at Ibrox and the cup final big time.
We miss his attacking threat more than anything, he goes past full backs as easily as wingers do and his final ball is outstanding. Something Hayes struggled with immensely.

I completely disagree.
We were outdone by the line up put out by Rodgers in the first and not putting too fine a point on it Dangers were just so far batter than us on the day.
Second game nobody was interested and even Tierney wouldn’t have changed that. Then again Rangers were again so much more up for it and better all over the park.
One defensive change wouldn’t have altered the outcomes.
only way I'd let him go is if they loan him back for a season
this seasons league will be the harder to win than next seasons

the game at new year Tierney was a massive miss as it meant moving our best player out to cover for him
any game we don't play with Tierney we miss him as he's a genuinely top class player
we could get by domestically without him but if we have aspirations of doing better in Europe we'll struggle because we wont replace him with anyone near the same quality
his EL stats were brilliant this season
