in this day and age to get £20-25m for a player in Scotland let alone a Left Back, is somewhat mind boggling

the game at new year Tierney was a massive miss as it meant moving our best player out to cover for him

any game we don't play with Tierney we miss him as he's a genuinely top class player

we could get by domestically without him but if we have aspirations of doing better in Europe we'll struggle because we wont replace him with anyone near the same quality

his EL stats were brilliant this season

Celtic fans make me laugh. As if he should or would turn down a chance to play for a club like Arsenal, who even now, whilst only the sixth best club in the Prem, are still infinitely more attractive than Celtic. He's won everything there is to win. I'd imagine starting his season in July against donkey farmers from Macedonia trying to qualify for the CL isn't really the dream for him.

Arsenal have the potential to get back into the top 4 bracket again if they loosen the purse strings.

KT is a great start for them should it happen.

You answered your own question, he's won everything he can here, 3 trebles in a row included.

He now needs to progress as a player and he won't do that at Celtic playing against guys like Chris Cadden and Daniel Candieas. He needs to test himself against the best week in week out.
