Cycling = Happy and fit

Driving = lazy, overweight, polluters
————
Driving = Safe and air conditioned

Cycling = Exposed to pollution
======

The conditioned air in your car still comes from immediately outside your car, no.

So its arguably worse inside a car than outside cycling?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s why modern cars can recirculate the air inside the car rather than draw air in from outside, more efficient too as the air you’re cooling is colder than the warm outside air
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Their health is still effected due to high blood pressure from being angry at cyclists
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but motorists can at least drive around with some dignity, not having to wear silly clothes and a daft hat
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don’t wear silly clothes and hats.

Shorts and T shirt all year round and that’s because I am a king among men as kneerash mentioned

Mostly people are both. I have always had a bike and a car, the Mrs also, plus most if not all of my mates. Both daughters also, though one doesn't bike much to be fair, but she lives in the alps. She does walk though.

"motorists can at least drive around with some dignity"

You'd think so, wouldn't you.

I thought I would have a shot at last word. We'll see.

Too soon for this thread to die and much yet to be discussed.

Driverless cars, that's what we need.

Driving standards are a disgrace. Automated control would be brilliant for so many reasons, if they can make it work.

Also riderless bikes need much more development.

City air is city air.

The car being circulated in a car isn't guaranteed to be fresher than the outdoors.

Also, if you get in the car and some dangerous fumes have entered the car too, are these fumes then circulated in your car repeatedly? Meaning you inhale more dangerous fumes repeatedly and continuously?

Sounds dangerous and my advise would be to open a window.

I didn't post this.

Seeing as this thread has not yet died, I'd like to re-raise the point that greatteams did his best to avoid.

‘Being respectful? Are you sure about that?’

What did you mean by that, greatteams?

I'd also like to ask another question.

If you met someone who you believed to be autistic and you were arguing with them about something, or maybe they'd annoyed you at some point, do you think it'd be acceptable to go up to them, tell them why what they're saying is so objectionable and then finish your comment by saying 'spectrum'?

I'll wait.

Nope, you lied about the answer to the first point and when probed on it, you avoided the point.

And regarding mental health, you know your behaviour is shameful and you don't have the decency to admit it.

Yet on another thread, you react with outrage when I have the audacity to conclude a post with the words 'let me know when you catch up', as if you deserve polite responses.

The last two days have destroyed you.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

You were called out on the last thread by 3 other people. That says everything. Off you go now. Try not to let me ruin your Friday.

Spectrum. 100%
----------------------------------------------------------------------

And there it is again.

Firstly, you claim that you believe I am autistic. So do you think it's an acceptable thing to write 'spectrum' at the end of your post? Seriously, what would your friends and family think about that? Are you not a little ashamed of yourself?

Secondly, you're avoiding the point.

You joined this article to have a dig at me. You weren't interested in the topic.

You joined yesterday's article to try and find fault in my advice to the OP re: credit.

Your motives are clear and worse still, when you get frustrated you then resort to these horrible mental health related insults.

Yet I'm the problem?

'being respectful? are you sure about that?'

Sure about what... we wait and wait for an answer.

No you haven't. You tried to get out of it three times but you never actually explained what you meant by 'are you sure?', because you didn't want to admit you're made a mistake.

A bit like you're not prepared to admit that what you've been writing about mental health is in extremely poor taste.

I haven't avoided any questions.
