I simply said that many police officers are ignorant on this issue and that they don't necessarily know more than me regarding this i.e. the number of 'accidents' that would be avoided if cyclists were aware of [red] lights etc.

You turned that into me claiming to know more than the police about road safety.

You see?

Whether intentional or not, you'd completely changed what was said. So I called you a liar and refused to discuss something that I hadn't said.

I'm sure you'll somehow deduce that this is all my fault though.

To be honest, I thought you were trolling initially so wrote this:

But then realised you weren't, so made it quite clear what I thought:

You don't need to. I didn't claim I do. There you go again, changing the actual point.

What you need to accept is that it's plausible that I do - not remotely far fetched either, given that this isn't something that would form part of their training.

Fact is, you twisted what had been said to try and make it sound ridiculous. It's not ridiculous at all.

So, enough of the accusations of avoiding a point or deflecting. You were wrong. Of course, you won't actually have the decency to admit it and then you'll wonder why I post to you in the way I do.
