depends what the outlay on the left back is doesnt it?
if we are spending 3 million its as a first choice sadly, we don't spend that money on backups.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
only first choice players and Kouassi's
Btw, i'm hoping Ntcham knuckles down again with our increased French presence in the squad
We sign the French left back as well and we could make Ntcham captain.

how amazing would it be if we accepted a bid and he knocked them back.
i'd honestly wet myself.

Think David Murray was like that when Hutton knocked back Spurs at first. Calmed himself down and told him to go back down the road and sign.
I was watching some highlights of previous games and he was a stand out. Someone mentioned to me maybe his english is not the best and he doesnt quite take on instructions properly?
Either that or at times (St Mirren away) he just simply cannot be ersed

Someone said last week that 2 clubs enquired about Eddy but were told to come back next summer as he's not for sale this season.
I'm happy enough if that's the case, we'll then have had 3 seasons out the boy and likely make a heck of a profit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eddy needs to have a better season than he did last year if he's to get a big move, he was fairly inconsistent last year and I doubt he'd fetch us a huge profit at this time.
Hopefully this year he can stay fit and as a team we can create more chances up front.
Perraud and Mbombo aren't coming here to sit on the bench
Eddy was injured for quite a bit of the season.
Winners against Dundee, Hearts, Hearts and big goals against Rangers amongst others makes me think otherwise. He was amazing last season.

I agree
His set up for Forrest goal in the 2-1 v Rangers after his solo goal against them two. Outstanding
eddie is a big game player.
iv never been so confident of a player scoring as when he runs through one on one.

Aye he missed around 3-4 months of the season last year and still played a part in 30 odd goals.
To be honest the fact he was not even on any player of the year list mystified me.
What did Kent do to warrant an award. Mikey Johnstone scored more in less games........

the minute that final third opens up he is a threat.
packed boxes maybe not as much but a bit of space and he is ruthless.

He is very quick of the mark and has composure, give him space and a one on one he is very dangerous
poor worral was tied up like a curly wurly when he was running at him
Goal away to salzburg was nice, plus a goal to beat Leipzig, and a couple in the qualifiers.
Did Kent score in Europe
Record Sport understands interest in Middlesbrough’s McNair has cooled.
The £5million-rated utility man is on the radar but Celtic are chasing other targets such as Luton Town’s Jack Stacey - who is also wanted by Stoke - and former Hoops star Adam Matthews.
Right-back is a priority but left-sided defenders such as Rapid Vienna’s Boli Mbombo and Nice’s Romain Perraud, below, are options with Kieran Tierney’s future a doubt.
Napoli will not give up the fight and could be willing to meet the £25m valuation.
(Joe Ledley also teasing about a return too) hes 32 fs
