Got home this afternoon mate. 10hr flight overnight from Mexico with two toddlers and this is how England welcome me back

Was those 2 wickets last night that did us. Reckon we'd have done it otherwise.

We've been a shambles this whole series.
Stokes papered over the cracks the last game but we've been truly awful against an average Ozzy team.

Blaming the openers? Aussie openers were even worse.

Have to blame the middle order as much if not more and the players like Root and Bairstow completely flopping.

England have been at least 2 batsman short for years and usually rely on bowling a lot better than what we had this series. Anderson an enormous miss it cannot be understated, anyside would miss their best test bowler.

History will say Tim Paine did what no other Australian greats were able to do in England.

Let that sink in. England have a lot to do in this format if they have to be competitive again. Given Anderson and Broad are nearing their ends, the bowling looks pretty weak. Root should either go back to 4 or give up his captaincy cause he clearly can’t seem to do both.

Can still draw the series, hopefully we make the required changes for the Oval.

Selectors are an absolute joke. After the Stokes miracle their solution was to play a worse player for Woakes

Kept the same batsman that consistently let us down.

Next test, Sibley, Foakes and Woakes in for Roy, Bairstow and Overton

Only players to come out of the series with reputations enhanced are Burns, Stokes, Archer, Broad and Leach.

Root, Denly, Roy, Bairstow and Buttler have been shocking and all bar Root should lose their places.

Currans not good enough to be a main seamer.

Don't think you can call the Aussie team average. Their bowling attack is world class, then they have the second greatest batsman of all time. Warner is out of form but top quality and labaschagne looks top class too.

Says a lot for the rest of them that Root got 3 ducks and still got more runs then all bar Burns and Stokes.

I like it although would bring Woakes back instead of Curran.

Absolute joke Burns took so long to get selected and Northeast/Hildreth have been overlooked.
