McGrath moaning again, typical shackle dragger!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What was he saying?
wouldn't put it past him to get close to 1000 runs this series, in a 4 match series! that's usually considered a good calendar year for top order batsmen
It really is unacceptable that we cant get him out. I don't care how good you are, there should be some sort of plan<s> to get him out at some point. Our biggest failure of the series and has not been talked about enough as, instead, its all about how good Smith is. Our bowlers have been poor against him and the chances we have had have not been taken.

Wouldn't be a doubt about it if he'd not missed those innings early on through injury.

Bradman is up there on his own. Then, there wasn't the technology to study batsmen in detail and build plans from it. There is no excuse. I get he is superb, but to have this dominance over us so frequently without the odd wicket is not good enough. We accept when certain people get a "good ball" which is part of the game, yet we don't seem to get him with a good ball. It isn't just down to how good he is, it is partly down to how bad we are.
Its the reason we have lost this test and we should take some blame.

Regarding Wade's dismissal,The ball was only glancing the stumps.
Be that as it may it's still the umpire's call.
Still, they can all f@ck off home next week!

It’s partly psychological
There have been times in this series when he’s been beaten by really good deliveries past the outside edge. Even top batsmen struggle to play them including Smith.
It seems that when he gets to around 20-30 our heads drop and the tactics are more just hoping he’ll make a mistake.
Thing thats been disappointing about not being able to get Smith out is that the aussies openers are out within 5 overs so hes practically facing the new ball every innings.
Century on the cards
So facking predictable
complete shat cricketer.
2 centuries and 1 5 wicket haul though. against the same side. wonder who
just the other guys left now. they shouldnt get past our score.
archer with 4. without him this series could you imagine
Should just bowl as wide as we can get away with to Smith and target the tailenders
