Can't believe Pattinson and Cummins have managed this big partnership. Still believe England will survive. Probably be like 315/7 end of tommorow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I guess you think Arsenal will win the premiership as well!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No I don't. But England surviving is very much achievable. Pardon me for being a bit optimistic!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal have more chance mate!

Here we go lads, Roy to go first I reckon, nicking outside off.

Aussie have won
Effectively having 10 men and being a seamer short majorly cost england. Had england had a first 3rd seamer, or even picked 4, as well as stokes, they would have won this test.
Not because of the pitch, but due to the work load on the bowlers and not offering variety. Same mistakes. Going to have to come from behind like in 05 but lords is next up and england have an awful ashes record there.
How many overs left this evening ?

Burns is on track to bat on all five days of the test.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Last person to do that was Sir Geoff i think!
For any successful test match side worth their salt it'd be a nailed on draw. For an England side most of whose batmen are ODI specialists I'm not so sure.
Can Boycott, Cook and Collingwood come out of retirement and bat for us tomorrow..

Pattinson nearly draws the edge!
Gonna be a long day tomorrow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Much longer than Jason Roy's innings tomorrow by the looks of it.

You don't think Roy has the temperament to bat through a day?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He looks like he’s trying to adapt his game to test mode. Can’t fault his first innings dismissal but it remains to be seen whether he can be a test match batsman.
I was just being facetious anyway by naming our most obdurate batsmen.
