Can’t believe Jofra is going to be bowling again at around 3pm, facking ridiculous.
If these aussies bowlers bowled in England all the time they would average aroubd 20 not like england greats Anderson and broad who are high 20s.
21 overs into our innings and Archer has got his pads on in the pavillion. Ridiculous, he should have been able to have his feet up all day today
You have to applaud England's resilience for making it to lunch not all out.
Faaak sake pop out for 10 mins and another is out.
Ashes to Ashes.
Dust to Dust
Will never happen but would love to drop Roy, Denly, Bairstow and Buttler for the next test. Bring in Sibley, Northeast, Pope and Foakes. They can't do any worse.
This ashes is the battle of whos got the worst batsmen, all this take about great low scoring games are just masks how awfull test batting is for the most part
Imagine how bad this would be right now if we had batted first yesterday
We’d be about 200 runs behind with the Aussies about 3 or 4 down in their first innings.
That’s literally the only positive you can take so far.

Wont ever happen but if the ashes are lost why not eh
CricViz just said our batting average is now 21.9 which is the lowest it's been since 1950 when it was 21.3.
Why will I not be surprised when there's no accountability for this sh!t.
When the cameras show Ed Smith and James Taylor sitting side by side I can't help thinking of Tweedledum and tweedledee.
Root will just say something along the lines of ‘we had good batters out there, and we’re happy with the order, it’s just one of those days’.
It wouldnt be surprised if England are skittled out straight after lunch.
It also wouldnt surprise me if Buttler and Woakes put on a 100 partnership after lunch.
Good point someone mentioned on the BBC live feed:
"Look on the Aussie balcony - they've got Waugh, Ponting and Langer, we've got Chris Silverwood. All our experiences Test match fighters are in the TMS and Sky boxes with their feet up criticising. Time they got their hands dirty?"
Honestly if I was Broad or Archer I'd be seriously tempted to say 'fack you' to our batsmen.
They go and put all that effort in to reduce Aussies to 179 and then the batsmen serve up that dross. Utter waaankers
Woakes looks very vulnerable to short pithed bowling, he really must resist trying to play them with his bat and just evade them. Ian Bell had the same problem at times.

Agree Palmers. I genuinely would in their position, sometimes harsh words are the best ones.
just back for a moment to say.. Any one thinks England will comeback in the game are deluded. England do not come from positions like this..
They just don't!

Bowlers set the platform yesterday. With these conditions and a bit of patience and application we could have scored 250-300 for 4 or 5 today.
Trouble is these losers think they are playing one day mode and have to go after everything.
Root has a face (and an attitude/voice) that makes you want to give him a good slap.
I've seen more backbone in an earthworm.
7th game now against aus as captain in tests, still yet to win one, his forms gone to pot as well, time to hand the armband to someone else
I thought we'd improve when Thorpe took over the batting coaching from Ramprakash.....seems not

Awful stat.
Imagine these gutless facks having to face McGrath, Lee and Warne. We'd not make 1000 runs in the entire series.
