Roy and Root grinning away on the balcony, cuunts

you know why?? its because its a way of protecting themselves..
Its like oh well lets have a laugh,. I will laugh with you and you will laugh with me
Oh PS Roy your position is safe.. Oh and ps ps we won the world cup. Puffs ones chest out.
They all need to be fecking sacked.. Except for Broad and Archer.

Burns was averaging almost 60 for the series before this innings. Just about his first bad shot in 5 innings. I think he's earned a bit of credit.
Stokes is averaging over 60 too. His bowling has been poor but he's a batting all rounder and Root has overused him because he's a bad captain and Anderson got his injury.
Otherwise... Yeah fair enough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we need an 100 lead at least.. Honestly cant see us getting another 250. where the sodding sh|t will they come from?
Denly doesn't go hard at the ball like Roy so is far more suited to opening.
Him and Burns opened, Root is likely to come in later.
seriously wtf was that Roy shot all about
rookie mistakes everywhere. its laughable

He edged it off the toe of the bat virtually. Shows how wide a delivery it was.
It was a terrible shot by a player taking the complete wrong approach to playing his way out of bad form
Its time to ditch at least 4 of the top 6 and put England lions players in and stick with them. Theres no point in giving Roy a long career. hes not a test batsman and most people can see it. Please for f--k sake do not go back to Vince or even Jennings <--- he played 15 tests to many
Don't want to blame it on Roy because he should never be opening anyway, but the openers are meant to set the tone. If you're constantly getting out inside 5 overs then it's inevitable we'll lose quick wickets because the ball is still moving.
Denly so close to chopping on there

He's being asked to perform an unfamiliar role in a completely new form of cricket against the best bowling attack in the world. And supposedly he's gonna be ditched after 3 tests.
I mean, it's clearly not working out, but it just smacks of a lack of planning and judgment by those making the decisions.

I feel for him in some ways as he’s rather been thrown in at the deep end but the way he’s just throwing his bat at everything outside the off stump is crazy.
Stokes looks ready to bat at 3. He'll thrive on the extra responsibility.
I would have gone for Stokes 3 Bairstow 4 and Root 5..
Looks better to me.
You can put someone like Pope at 5
Stokes at 3 would be good considering we could bring in curran, a good batsman, and a better 4 choice seamer.

Stokes, Root, Pope, Bairstow, Curran
WHAT THE FACK ARE THEY DOING
How the fack has he even reached that
For Fack sake England you clowns
Shouldn't have said anything about Stokes at 3
We knew before this series started that both teams had strong bowling units and that the weaker of the two weak batting units that would lose the series. It seems very clear that we have the weaker batters and this is made worse by Root's continuing failures.
