Probably already been said but it's daft we've not moved Root back to 4. I really don't get the logic in making our best player worse to protect weaker players.

Burns was averaging almost 60 for the series before this innings. Just about his first bad shot in 5 innings. I think he's earned a bit of credit.

Stokes is averaging over 60 too. His bowling has been poor but he's a batting all rounder and Root has overused him because he's a bad captain and Anderson got his injury.

Otherwise... Yeah fair enough

Better captaincy and stronger mentalities winning Aussies the series. Paine has had a great series behind the stumps and as captain.
