Love the fact that tories are branded as brexiteers when it was Labour heartlands that voted for leave.

Why do Liverpool submit a team into the English PL then? Why do Scousers pmay for England (Carragher, Gerrard etc)?

You boo the national anthem for your reasons but then take advantage of being a City in England. Your reasons do not justify booing the anthem BTW.

The booing was vociferous yesterday and the right wing Tory-ites are not amused. This is what you get with Boris and Brexit I'm afraid(Liverpool voted remain). His Hillsborough slurs aren't easily forgotten either.

What’s wrong with changing the national anthem to something more in keeping with today’s Britain?

Don’t ask me what cos I’ve no idea but the current one is outdated and a lot of people don’t feel any connection with it

I don’t overly mind taking the connotation to be wider than it is and to take in the government (although that defeats the main reason I’d have for booing it which Great mentioned earlier - we aren’t a republic, so I’m not sure you can have it both ways), it’s just got to be accepted that everyone that doesn’t do similar may take offence at it.

Boris Johnson alone is our reason to boo. He is a disgusting man who slanders our city. If I see him on his bike in London I will let him know my thoughts
