Also, the rebel MPs are stopping a no-deal Brexit, not Brexit altogether, the idea was to deliver a deal, not run down the clock so we’d crash out without one.

It's likely an election will be confirmed once no deal is as off the table as it can be. My understanding is there's two more steps for that to go through now it's passed the house commons; the house of lords then “royal assent”.
There is a huge amount of the British public who'd support no deal when frankly it's utterly moronic to even consider. The fact many politicians voted to keep it as an option is a betrayal to the country (they in theory should have the brain capacity and easy access to facts unlike some).
The excuse of it being a bargaining chip made absolutely no sense given the people "using it as a bargaining chip" admitted this in public thus making it worthless for bargaining anyway...

The EU have come out and said absolutely no negotiating is going on. The Government must take us all for fools if they think we believe they are negotiating a new deal, when they clearly are not.

Morning Weare, your Tory Party started this mate, but they seem incapable of finishing it. Brexit has always been about the Tory Party, but they have embroiled the whole country in it now, when it should just have been an internal Tory Party row. The shutting down of Parliament and the purging of MPs that do not go along with the extreme Brexit that they are offering is a very sinister turn for the worse though.
I have to say though the current political mayhem is a lot more exciting than the football on show at WHL at this moment in time.

Johnson has proved to be a serial liar, so I certainly would not believe anything he says. He cannot be trusted. The Labour Party have not lied on anything as far as I can see.
Last week he said he did not want a General Election, now apparently he is desperate for one. It is so obvious he wants control back so that he can push through his extreme No Deal Brexit. You would have to be like a village idiot not to know what his game is.
