Well Brexit isn`t quite as black and white as you make out. Voters from both Parties voted In and Out. So for any party to take a blind view one way or the other, is not a sensible way to go. The Tory Party are basically saying now that anyone that voted to stay, cannot now be a member of the Party. What a way to run a party.

I always console myself that it always takes years to get rid of the Tories, but they always implode in the end. Thatcher was supposed to rule for years and years, and in the end it was all ended by her own party, that is what they do, they turn on themselves in the end. The beginnings of that are happening now.

What does "acceptable" mean?
Perhaps the deal we think we should get is deemed unacceptable by the EU.
The EU will not give the UK a sweet deal because it will encourage other countries to consider leaving the EU.
They must look after themselves especially now that a big member wants to leave. They can't allow the union to start hemorrhaging.
The UK has boxed itself in by completely facking up the whole process.

Never mind taking a different direction mate, just don`t usually take it over cliffs though.
The Tory Party need to start owning this mess. They said it would be the easiest thing in the world to leave with a decent deal. They were supposed to take the country out at the end of March, they failed to do that. They are now supposed to be taking the country out at the end of October with a do or die Johnson deal, they look like failing that.
The truth is they have never had a plan from day 1, and are now looking to blame everybody else but themselves.

Well Brexit isn`t quite as black and white as you make out. Voters from both Parties voted In and Out. So for any party to take a blind view one way or the other, is not a sensible way to go. The Tory Party are basically saying now that anyone that voted to stay, cannot now be a member of the Party. What a way to run a party.

I always console myself that it always takes years to get rid of the Tories, but they always implode in the end. Thatcher was supposed to rule for years and years, and in the end it was all ended by her own party, that is what they do, they turn on themselves in the end. The beginnings of that are happening now.

What does "acceptable" mean?
Perhaps the deal we think we should get is deemed unacceptable by the EU.
The EU will not give the UK a sweet deal because it will encourage other countries to consider leaving the EU.
They must look after themselves especially now that a big member wants to leave. They can't allow the union to start hemorrhaging.
The UK has boxed itself in by completely facking up the whole process.

Unlikely, but even if it were true it would be because their lives will not be negatively affected by remaining, leaving does the opposite for millions.

The Tory Party need to start owning this mess. They said it would be the easiest thing in the world to leave with a decent deal. They were supposed to take the country out at the end of March, they failed to do that. They are now supposed to be taking the country out at the end of October with a do or die Johnson deal, they look like failing that.
The truth is they have never had a plan from day 1, and are now looking to blame everybody else but themselves.
