The problem with cyclist and drivers that they wind each other up so much, both just go mental and blame each other, no one is prepared to give an inch.
He should have moved, but as I said both see mist against the other.
I only cycle on the pavement while scrolling through ja606 on my phone so couldn't tell you about the highway code
My mate was cycling on a road and then a car knocked him off and killed him. The guy was drunk whilst driving. Question for car drivers, why are you drink driving murderers? And is an inconveniently parked cyclist really as much of an irritant as murdering whilst drunk?
I find lorries and trucks very annoying to be honest, mainly on motorways, on the m6 when it is pretty much 50mph most of the roads, half of them think it is okay for them to go into the middle lane and stay there for ages!

depends where he's parked or who is killed.
I’d have tested out his “anti-car Lycra”
Every cyclist that parks in a car parking space should be killed but only if every car driver that parks in a cycle lane is also killed. We'd have none of you drink driving prostitute murderers left!
Cycle lanes, I’d love to know how much paint these are costing the taxpayer, should be scrapped immediately,
If only cyclists could be considerate and law abiding like drivers are.
Lorries > motorists > cyclists > pedestrians.
Us Peds can make sure we don't get run over by motorists or lorries by staying on the pavement in most instances.
However, the vehicular users have forced many cyclists to use the footpaths and they seem to not care about us peds.
All the cyclists killed seem to be professionals, which makes me wonder about their commen sense. Why the F would you try to turn left up the side of a lorry.
“Why the F would you try to turn left up the side of a lorry.”
Same reason a lorry driver would pull up at a junction, knowing he has cyclists on his inside, and then cut across them I suppose.
The idea that any cyclist killed by a turning lorry has caused the incident themselves is outrageously ignorant.
So many of the problems we have in society are a consequence of dehumanising and stereotyping individuals (who more often than not we don't even know) and lumping them into an antagonist group based on a single trait.
Not all Scots are like Barry.

Sorry for your loss but surely your anger should be reserved for the driver who caused your friend's death or those who drink drive and not... all drivers?

Are you suggesting that people are individuals and should not be stereotyped or placed into groups due to the action of a minority? Crazy idea and I shall not entertain it.
Anyway, back to reasonable debate,
Cyclists skip red lights and ride on the pavements
Drivers are drink driving murderers
Lorry drivers murder prozzies

Glad we have that sorted. I'm off to find a cyclist to smash off the road then after I've had a few pints...
The cyclist should have moved really as long as thje request was asked in a polite manner. Beeping and telling them to flucking move isn't on.
Personally, as a motorist I find cyclists a menace, especially the go pro wielding ones who run red lights and ignore the rest of the highway code.
I'll have more time for them when they are forced to be taxed and insured as the rest of us are.

Mate, if you're going to troll you really need to be more subtle.
No trolling here, the cyclists where I live are bonkers.
You know what I hate about football, the fact that it is played with a stupid oval shaped ball and only lasts 30 minutes per half. If football was played with a round ball and lasted 45 minutes then maybe I would have more time for it.
Question for Cyclists!
