jekyll and hyde man utd. bournemouth were easily good enough.

I think since we beat Crystal Palace away win we have scored less than expected and conceded more than expected. Greenwood somehow missed a sitter. Young and Fred were the 2 worst players.

All good playing that defensive counter attack against the big boys but obvious he cant get a team to say proper possession based attacking football.

Tactically, he got it right. Absolutely no complaints about Ole today. The players let us down; Pereira and Fred were terrible.

Just written on the match thread that Robbie Earle hit the nail on the head:

Any proper United fan wanting us to sack Ole now is stupid. What would it achieve? We’ve seen small signs of improvement lately. With a young squad, new style and players, we will have ups and downs.

What can a manager do for a side that has been missing so many chances since we beat Palace away.

Even the Norwich away game felt like a loss as it should really have been a 7 or 8-0 win but we ended up gifting them a goal and only winning 1-3.

Not really, we were never going to finish top four, so our season hinges on good showings in the domestic cups and the Europa League.

It was Ole who has the final say on ins and outs.

The Norwich City game showed our strikers are still really bad. Most strikers would have scored 4 goals each with the chances they had.

Think we will struggle for 7th spot this season. How we managed to go to a season with so few midfielders and strikers is alarming.

In 2 or 3 months we could be looking at a bottom half of the table finish, which for a club with our resources, in modern football, would be a huge embarrassment.

What top player is going to want to come in and work under ole after performances / results like today?

I disagree. I'd rather finish as high in the table as we can and to hell with the League Cup and Europa league right now.
