As the team strives for a historic 9 - and then 10 - in a row, we would rather not be engaged in this negative narrative. Our aim, as always, is to positively support Celtic and following Thursday we hope to get back to that. However, omitted from the Club Statement is the fact that all Green Brigade tickets for all upcoming fixtures are being withheld until further notice – including the upcoming League Cup Final and potentially as far as to the Glasgow Derby at the end of the year. We hope that the Club will reconsider this position and re-engage with fans in a meaningful manner.

I’ve lost count of the number of times the club has been fined because of the GB behaviour. The club could be at real risk of having closed doors sanctions imposed by UEFA to the detriment of ALL supporters. If their unacceptable behaviour had only happened a small number times they could have a point in complaining but that is not the case. They are serial offenders who don’t give a flying fook about anyone else. The Celtic Board, imho, have done the right thing and are to be applauded for dealing with this in the way they have. Not before time. 👍

Threre are couple of points that I don't disagree with them on but certainly saying "fck the authorities, we'll use pyrotechnics if we choose" I don't agree with.

I actually don't mind them at the game but when you've been telt to stop you have to take heed at some stage, surely?

Since they accept the consequences, why are they complaining? Does this mean they are also paying the fines? Good on them then

I dont remember setting of flares being a celtic tradition.

The club’s Terms and Conditions for season ticket holders are very clear about the need to behave and the consequences of breaching the Conditions. So these self important GB gangs should only be surprised that it has taken so long for the club to act as they have.

Are they those kids who play dress up in army gear? Just let them play. It is just a phase that they will grow out of. It is very unlikely that they will end up in the army when they grow up.

I can't see any way this will end well for them?

Keep the singing and leave the stupid stuff alone and they're worth their seats/standing areas but if not they'll lose a long term argument with the club

Pyrotechnics is a show of passion. Is it fack.

Just cut oot the pyros. It's not difficult. Is it really going to take serious injury or death? Then they will know aw about it.

Only got 5 min on here but I suspect we've had as many fines for sloppy

lazy stewarding as for pyros. Don't see any kvnt going Tonto over that.

SFA, SPFL, & UEFA set them aff themselves at Finals.

Hundreds of UEFA affliliate clubs are routinely fined for pyros.

In some FIFA affiliates it's not an offence.


IMO the focus on GB is only because of Celtic's dominance.

If the OF had shared the past 8 Leagues this thread wouldn't be here.

It fills newspaper columns and quiet days on forums.

Celtic fans spoiled over years.

Spoiled fvkin rotten btw & produced a subspecies of whiners.

Useful decoy for deflecting Bears as well.
