Would have picked a batsman who bowls spin instead of Crawley. Liam Livingstone would be ideal to balance out this England side. I can only see England continuing with 4 seamers (Anderson, archer, broad, woakes) with stokes and root as back up.
Denly burns root stokes bairstow pope butler woakes archer broad Anderson would be my 11.

Anderson has been such a miss. Shows england are gonna struggle without him.
Burns, Sibley, Denly, Root, Stokes, Pope, Buttler, Broad, Leach, Archer, Anderson
I hope Anderson can stay fit - and the same goes for Wood. At least there's a proper back-up keeper this time though no doubt some folk would rather have had Foakes than Bairstow.
Foakes is one of them people who doesn't get picked because the selectors have their own favourites.
I wouldn't mind it but Foakes didn't do much wrong when he played for England. But that doesn't count.
English team have done exceptionally well in their last 3 or 4 tours in South Africa, I reckon they will win this .

Isn't Denly the batsman who bowls a bit of spin? Crawley is a back up top order batsman which Livingstone doesn't offer as he's a middle order bat.
I'd keep Sibley opening as well, seems harsh to drop him after 2 tests although on flat pitches, he'll be gutted he didn't score some runs.
Hopefully Jimmy is fully fit, he's the only seamer who can really offer control when the ball isn't doing anything through the air.
Yep, Sibley should get another go. He was disappointing in NZ but he's still a young player and shouldn't be cast aside quickly.
Livingstone is a much better spin bowler than denly. What did Geoff boycott say on tms when asked what does denly bowl? Rubbish was the answer. Livingstone isn't going to the IPL this year and is playing the early games for Lancashire. Has a big ambition to play for England.
Boycott's answer to most questions is 'rubbish'. I'm not a Denly fan but he has done okay in his test career so far despite being moved around the order a bit. Livingstone certainly doesn't deserve to be in the side ahead of him at present. He's a good batsman though and did okay in division 2 last year but will need to score more heavily to get back on England's radar.
Strangely Pope is keeping for this warm up game despite both Buttler and Bairstow being in the squad.
Batting has done okay with half centuries for Sibley, Denley and Root. The former 2 retiring not out with Root carrying on for some reason.
England managed to bowl out the Invitation XI despite Archer, Broad and Leach being unavailable due to illness plus Stokes due to his award ceremony. Woakes took 3 wickets in a burst. Jimmy bowled 11 overs and took a wicket. Match drawn. Another warm-up starts tomorrow (Friday).
Dom Bess and Craig Overton have been called up to the England squad as cover for the players who are ill. Also the warm-up is under way and England are 51-0.

England haven't been doing too great with the ball. The SA team are 285-3. The good thing is Jimmy has taken 2 wickets. I haven't heard any word on the bowlers who are ill.
I think this will be good series and close one
Ben Stokes missed training today as his father is seriously ill in a Joburg hospital. So we wish him all the best.
Chris Woakes also missed out as he has the flu or whatever that the other bowlers had (though they seem to be recovering).
No spinner and bairstow playing instead of pope 🙄
Boy are we going to miss anderson and how we did in the ashes.
His economy and early wickets are astounding.
