Grated, yeah and that’s the Brexit entrenchment. Short of Labour shifting back to the right quite radically I don’t see these same people admitting their mistake and the country shifting towards the left, which is what would be needed for that to happen.
Might take another ten years at least for that to happen. With the younger voters being more left wing, older tories dying and the reality of Brexit and tory rule starting to hit home for some.
I hope I’m wrong and people do change their position.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Where were all these young voters tonight ππππ€£lazy? Dont care? Not so extreme as we thought?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They will learn a hard lesson when they head to a&e and cant afford the treatment.
Your behaving like a bit of pillock tbh weare as most have agreed that neither are credible leaders.

Are you LVG in disguise?
There must be a lot of remainers hurting this morning. They keep going on about a second referendum, but my feeling has always been that the country would vote to leave again should a second referendum take place. I think that the results last night are a strong indication that this would be the case. There has been a lot of talk in the press and polls about how opinion had swung to remain since the referendum, but that doesn't reflect what I have experienced in in real life. Time for all the bickering and pro-remain propaganda to stop now. We just need to focus on finally getting Brexit done so that we can refocus as a country. Hopefully a decent labour leader will emerge, or perhaps a new party will be formed that properly represents the masses, as we really don't have anyone at the moment.

Because I know a lot of people that didn't vote at the referendum who would vote (and vote leave) at the second referendum. I don't know a single person that voted to leave and who has changed their mind. I do however know a few that voted remain, but who would vote leave the at a second referendum, as they think that is the correct thing to do democratically, as they believe the first referendum should be honoured.

No it isn't. The country has been in limbo for over 3 years since the referendum. Businesses delaying all kinds of deals and investments until they know whether it is going to actually happen. I have a mate that is a director of a large building firm. They have had to shelve a £90m housing development until things become clearer as to what is going to happen. There are countless examples of such deals being put on hold.
