Carvalho = non existent, along with about 7 others
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why do I not think this is a surprise
He really is extra baggage ATM
Really bad miss by Grabban. Basic stuff, always head to the side where the ball came from.
Scores going in our favour in the main, we really could do with making this count
He actually did well to miss it, it was that easy
That one (and only) chance for Grabban was brought about by playing exactly how we are set up to play. Win the ball back quick and get it forward into feet quicker because then Cash, Carvalho, Ameobi and Yates in particular have to support and feed Grabban when the opponents are off guard.
But this is the classic away from home approach and we do need some more strings to our bow as we’re struggling to win by much or much at all every time at the CG. Remember how the only goal against Barnsley was just on the counter after inviting on a lot of pressure?

Yeah I remember that game game Barnsley, we were lucky to hold onto that 1:0 then
I just don’t see how Carvalho fits into this type of setup and game play?
I can think of only 1 game at home where we’ve played really well and dominated a team - Birmingham
Apart from that we’ve looked very mediocre and at times 2nd best
This looks like a matter of time before Wigan score
Carvalho gets the hook, again.
Lolley and Silva for Yates and Carvalho
Get Carvalho and ameobi off and going Lolley and Adomah on
Wigan clean through on goal, fortunately puts it wide
Figs scores, header from a corner
We seriously need to get someone in that can take the incentive and pressure off Grabben
Just don’t sit back like versus Middlesbrough, let’s go for a second
Right, another would be great and then a 3rd....then we can bring Carvalho on to really show us what he can do
Birmingham equalise against Leeds
West Brom still losing home - Preston losing at home and Sheff Wed also losing
Results all going in our favour at present
Bristol City and Fulham winning though
