Oh it's happened because you say its happened?

Right, okay.

What criteria have you decided is the relevant measurement this time?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well I suppose you are right and not the many people who say it happened who experienced it for weeks after the event. Fine, be right. I don't have the need, so I've leave you to your bubble.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ah! Remember the Suarez bubble

Oh it happened mate, that milkshake may as well have been a scud missile for the amount of danger and anxiety it caused many on here especially the city fans.

Sure they’re still banging on about it today, which is nice.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

As I recall, there was one or two City fans crying their eyes out about it and not a huge amount else.

Where has this 'Liverpool fans are treated differently, woe is me' sprung up from?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah I’ve no interest in that argument I just recall plenty of folk kicking off about it at the time and it was quite entertaining.

No, because when a United player racially abused a black player, Ferguson laughed it off, accussed the player who made the complaint, of playing the race card, and nobody really gave a 5h1t. 😂

So do you think there's a different reaction when Liverpool are involved?

You think Liverpool fans get more stick from others than other groups of fans for the same things?

Or remember the Cantona incident, where he attacked a fan and barely anyone said anything?

A lot was said.
But it would seem many have reinvented what happened, as one man's fight against racism, instead of what it really was, which was one man losing his rag, and attacking a fan.

Yeh of course.

Had it have been a Liverpool player it would have been totally different.

Fack me, what a load of crap.

This scouse complex really is incredible.

posted on 29/1/20

It's so weird.

There are definitely individuals who have a particular dislike of Liverpool over other clubs - LQ was one of them.

But the same is true for United.

Generally speaking though, the idea that 'people' react differently when Liverpool are involved in an incident vs anyone else is utter ballacks - complete fiction from people with a massive complex.

The reason Suarez got a hard time is because he's a disgusting individual, not because he played for Liverpool

Or whatever object it actually was may has well been a milkshake?

I’m interested in someone answering Melton’s question.

Thing is, I know several Liverpool fans and none of them think this way.

Maybe it's just the forum that clouds people's understanding of the real world. I guess those people need to get out more.

Well then two things:

- You need to get out more.
- Of course you think the way you do. You notice and respond to comments about Liverpool more so than you do about any other club, so your perception is influenced by that.

Turns out the Liverpool complex is based on LQ and Boris from the Man City board.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Where was the complaint made? To the match officials or to the FA?

Should have been investigated and I can assure you, we would not have made the T-shirts or said it was okay to walk up to a black person and say, hey black Like TOOR suggested.

I also recall that we did not boo the player as well.

I also suspect your version of events are not factual, but when has that stopped a mouser.

TOOR says 'everyone' is talking about this forum.

Jlou references the Ian Wright vs Peter Schmeichel incident.

TOOR talking out of his backside as usual.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think it's exclusinve to Liverpool but I think when certain clubs are involved things can escalate and that's as much due to the nature of the clubs fans.

Well yeh, the media will jump on something if it's a bigger club than a smaller club of course.

Internet bubble too Winston where things are naturally hyped up.

Like football twitter is great, so many fans of clubs, with a football player or crest or something of that ilk as their avatar and they fume all day, can never admit fault with their club and whataboutery is king, great craic bar when they get really abusive to women and stuff like that.
