He's am improvement on what they have but that's not saying much. Hard to criticise a player that only joined Thursday and playing in a team void of confidence. Wolves aren't mugs either.

Has a decent shot on him, not much else to his game, pretty much what I expected. United look just as turgid
as a team going forward.

Think teams will work out pretty quickly that if you close him down and make him pass sideways he is a very limited player. His passing stats in the portuguese league were really poor and you can see why.

He finished the game playing deeper than Harry Maguire.

the current utd team needs a scholes (midfield dictator) or a gerrard (midfield general) type player. We have got a lampard type player in fernandes. Not a bad signing but not what we need.

although with the right player around him....

I wanted to canvas the opinion of fans who support a top team when it comes to quality players

I wanted Liverpool to sign him. I think he'll be a top PL player by the end of next season. Unfortunately.

Not the best game for him to make his debut. It was clear that United’s only aim was not not concede, their standard setup when playing against better teams. A draw is a good result for Utd; less so for Wolves.

Yeah Wolves will be disappointed with that result. 2 points dropped

Only player that tried to make anything happen. Good debut. Rest of team is so poor. 1st half we were shocking at passing. 2nd half much better but missed the chances to win it. Its a shame Rashford got injured. He would be perfect player for Fernandes.
