Very different scenario here where so many people seem apathetic about the whole thing while the government dithers.

How is the government dithering?
You tell me, what should be done. Considering it's just over 1 in a million people in the UK that have the virus, what should the government do that isn't a drastic overreaction?

$5tn wiped off the stock market because of investor panic, causing people's pensions and savings to decrease in value.
These are real life consequences of sharing fake news.
Do your research before you facking pass anything on!!!

The problem is morons that take what the media say as gospel.
Authorities run doomsday scenarios often to have a worst case idea of what is possible but then the media get hold of a 1 in 5 will become infected storyline which of course is completely false.
Wuhan was the unprepared epicenter of the virus, a city jammed with 8.5 million people, a place nowhere near as prepared as say the US or UK but yet has had a total of 80,000 cases and now declining.
That is 1 case for every 106 people.......quite a long way from the 1 in 5 number feckin morons are peeing their pants over
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can’t really compare Wuhan to the western world though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
exactly, so the number would be even larger, like 1 in a 1000
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, the opposite. In China (and Wuhan in particular) people are far more willing to listen to authority and the police there are far more likely to be able to use force to make people stay indoors. China is more prepared to stop this kind of thing spreading than the west because in a totalitarian state you can smash a sledgehammer down on the populace and get a virus to stop spreading without worrying about how people will react
Very different scenario here where so many people seem apathetic about the whole thing while the government dithers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The hygiene levels in China are not comparable to those over here...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They say the virus can be carried for weeks without symptoms. So in Wuhan, a very crowded city(i have been) literally the entire population would have been in and around the virus prior to it becoming common knowledge.
“ For what it’s worth I’m one of those selfish stockpilers 😂 Bought a huge load of long life stuff and I’ve told myself that if this thing doesn’t turn into a ‘thing’ I can give it all to a food bank when it al dies down”
Why’ve you bought a load of long life stuff if you’re here for 2 months?

Long life as in it doesn’t go off after a week or two. So hypothetically I’d say, in a month there’s a run on supermarkets I’m covered. If in two months when I’m off nothing bad has happened I’ll hand over the food to a food bank.

Are most diagnosed cases in old people? Are a lot of younger people getting it but not even being aware of it as it isn't likely life threatening to them and will feel like a common cold?

Anyway it's all a hoax, it's just the flu being rebranded so in a few weeks we will all be given a vaccine to take, but that's bjust their way of putting mico trackers into your bloodstream, it's Amazon's idea, targeted ads directly to the blood stream = more people buying stuff.
